Food, fashion, film – is there anything the French don’t do well?

It is not only the biggest film festival in Australia; it is also the biggest festival of French films outside of France. From March 1, the 27th edition of the Festival will travel around Australia bringing the best in contemporary French blockbuster and independent films to seven cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart. Marguerite Catherine Frot in 'Marguerite' This year's highlights include Cannes Festival Palme d'Or winner Dheepan, Julie Delpy's new comedy Lolo, the C�sar-nominated Marguerite with Catherine Frot, and the masterpiece by New Wave iconic director Jean-Luc Godard – Contempt, starring the unforgettable Brigitte Bardot.
