Step 4: Accept the competition terms and conditions The competition is open to AU entrants aged 18 years and over only. Entries close Sunday 16th April 2017 at 11.55pm. UTC. Competition Terms and Conditions No purchase necessary. Entry to the competition is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms. In order to participate, the entrant must enter the promoter’s ‘Cheapflights European Adventure’ competition via the Cheapflights website. The entrant will be asked to play the ‘Design your European adventure’ quiz in order to enter the competition. Once completed, the user must also enter their matched destination (either London, Rome, Barcelona, Paris or Athens), their name and a valid email address. There is limit of 5 entries per person. If you enter more than 5 times only the first 5 entries will qualify. The competition is open to entrants in Australia aged 18 years and over only. It is not compulsory for the entrant to share the page to enter the competition. Sharing the competition on social media is an optional function of the competition. By sharing, the entrant automatically becomes eligible for the competition bonus prize ($100 AUD spending money paid via Paypal). After the competition closing date, Cheapflights will select one winner using a random number generator. The start date for entries is Tuesday 21st March 2017 at 9am. UTC. The closing date for entries is Sunday 16th April 2017 at 11:55pm. UTC. Entries received after this date and time will not be accepted. Employees of the promoter and members of their immediate families (including any live-in partner), its agencies, or anyone professionally associated with the promotion are excluded from entering the promotion. The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The promoter of this competition is Cheapflights, Control Tower, One Alfred Place, London, WC1E 7EB, United Kingdom. Prizes: The main competition prize is two (2) return economy flights with Qatar Airways to one of the following European destinations Qatar Airways flies to (London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, or Athens), departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, or Adelaide International Airports. Total prize value is up to $4000 AUD. The prize value may vary in value. If the entrant shares the competition on a social media platform, they will be automatically entered for the bonus competition prize of $100 AUD spending money to enjoy in your destination. Both the main and bonus prize are non-transferable and must be used in conjunction with each other. There is no cash alternative to the prizes. Travel tickets must be booked and completed by 31st March 2018. The winner’s preferred dates for travel may be subject to availability at the time of booking. Flights must be redeemed within three months prior to the departure date. Seats may not be available during peak seasons; blackout periods apply (June – August 2017 and December 2017 – January 2018) and are subject to availability. If the major prize winners are located outside of Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, or Adelaide, all travel to and from this location will be at the winners own expense. The travel companion of the winner must also be 18 years or older. The major travel prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, airport transfers, excess baggage or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. The winner and their travel companion will not accrue Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Points on the prize travel. The prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash nor can it be sold to any other person. Flights do not include stopover and itinerary cannot be broken. Name changes or departure date changes may incur additional costs. The prize winner agrees to absolve the Qatar Airways from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the competition or from the acceptance or use of the prize. Prize draws: The final draw will take place on Tuesday 18th April 2017. The winners will be notified via email within one day of the draw. The prize winners are required to accept his/her prizes by email within ten days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance, a supplementary winner may be drawn at the promoter’s discretion.
