Who can enter the Australia Day in New South Wales Competition?
Entry is open to all residents of Australia. However, staff and immediate family members of the Promoter and its associated agencies and bodies corporate are not eligible. Immediate family includes spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or stepchild, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or first cousin. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes on Monday, 22 January 2024 at 4.00 pm AEDT.
How can one enter the competition?
To enter, individuals must visit the official Australia Day website, complete the webform on the "Win a family pass to Ferrython" competition page by answering the question "Tell us in 25 words or less who you’ll take on the Ferrython and why." They must also accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement from the Australia Day Council of NSW.
What is the prize?
The winner will receive tickets for four people to participate in one of the ferries in the Ferrython 2024 race on Sydney Harbour. This includes a family pass (4 tickets) to board one of the ferries in the race.
How will the winner be selected and notified?
The prize will be awarded to the best entry, determined by the judges based on originality, literary merit, and creative merit. The winner will be notified by email within two working days of the draw.
Are there any specific conditions related to the prize?
Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. The winner must comply with all conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. The prize is valid only for Australia Day 2024 and will be forfeited if not used by the stipulated date. Ferrython tickets are valid only for the specified date or period and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider.
