Who can enter the Dettol 2024 I Win a Family Trip to Taronga Zoo competition?

Australian permanent residents over 18 years of age are eligible to enter, excluding employees of the Promoter, parties contracted for work related to the competition, parties directly involved with the competition, and their immediate family members.

When does the competition close?

The competition closes at 11.59pm AEDT on Wednesday, 28 February 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, participants must purchase two or more Dettol products in a single transaction at Chemist Warehouse or My Chemist (in-store or online) and provide proof of purchase by entering online via the specified websites.

What is the prize?

The prize is a family trip to Taronga Zoo in Sydney for 2 adults and 2 children, valued at up to $4,995. It includes an overnight Roar & Snore accommodation package at Taronga Zoo Sydney, a family day pass to Taronga Zoo Sydney, economy return flights from the winner’s nearest capital city, and a helmet.

What is the total prize pool amount?

The total prize pool value is $4,995 AUD.

How and when will the winner be selected and notified?

The winner will be randomly selected using automated competition drawing software on 29 February 2024 at 10:00am AEDT. The winner will be notified by SMS or email by 2.00pm on the same day.

What happens if the prize is unclaimed?

If unclaimed, a redraw will occur on 29 March 2024 at 10.00am and the new winner will be notified in writing within 24 hours.

Are there any additional terms?

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information for promotional purposes. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries or modify, suspend, or cancel the competition under certain conditions. Permit No: ACT – TP 23/02474 applies.
