Competition Terms and Conditions (Game of Chance) Schedule to Terms of Entry This Schedule together with the Terms of Entry constitute the Competition Terms of Entry for the Promotion. Promotion Period Entry into the Promotion commences at: 2pm AEST on Thursday 6th Septmeber 2018 Entry into the Promotion closes at: 12pm AEST on Friday 14th September 2018 6. Maximum Number of Entries Clause 3 Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry. For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) prize each in the Promotion. 9. Entry Method Clause 3 Web Entry During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by: (a) providing their contact details including but not limited to full name, Personal Contact Number, current and valid email address and any other information requested by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion); and (b) answering the following question in 25 words or less: “Why do you want to win a Ford SUV with Kate, Tim and Marty? (Answer). Each entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria. At various times during the Promotion Period the Judges (in their sole and absolute discretion) will: (a) select up to ten (10) entrant/s judged to have submitted the “best” Answer (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted until that stage during the Promotion (each, a Selected Entrant); (b) contact up to ten (10) of the Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone on their Personal Contact Number to discuss their Answer and assess their suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and (c) invite the “best” Selected Entrant from all entrants deemed to be Selected Entrants up until that stage during the Promotion Period (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) to appear on air between 4.00pm AEST and 6.00pm AEST that day (On Air Challenge) (each, a Challenger). On Air Challenge At various times during the Promotion Period, a representative of the Station will contact a Selected Entrant on their Personal Contact Number and invite them to participate in the On Air Challenge as a Challenger (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion): (a) the Challenger will be given a sporting term (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion); (b) the Challenger will be asked to name which sport the sporting term relates to; (c) should the Challenger successfully identify the sport to which the sporting term relates during the On Air Challenge within the specified time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) the Challenger will be awarded a place on the Finalist List (as a Finalist); (d) should the Challenger fail to, or incorrectly, identify the sport to which the sporting term relates during the On Air Challenge within the specified time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) then the Challenger will not be awarded a place on the Finalist List and the Promoter will (in its sole and absolute discretion) contact another Selected Entrant and invite them to appear on air as a Challenger to identify the sport to which the sporting term relates; (e) the Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) provide clues and hints to Challengers during a contesting spot however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will conduct up to five (5) On Air Challenges at various times during the Promotion Period, as specified on air. The Promoter will place up to five (5) Finalists on the Finalist List. Each Finalist will be allocated a sportsperson who will participate on the Finalist’s behalf at the Major Prize Event. For the avoidance of doubt, the sportsperson will be allocated by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion. Finalists For the avoidance of doubt, where the Finalist’s ordinary state of residence is VIC, QLD, SA, or WA (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) the Finalist will be awarded one (1) Domestic Travel Prize to attend the Major Prize Event in Sydney. If a Finalist’s ordinary state of residence is NSW, the Finalist will not be awarded a Domestic Travel Prize and must make their own way to Sydney to attend the Major Prize Event. Major Prize Event On Friday 21st September 2018 the five (5) Finalists will be transported to a location to be advised by the Promoter to be present for the Major Prize Event. Each Finalist’s allocated sportsperson will be transported to the same location and will take part in a running race on behalf of their allocated Finalist. The Finalist whose allocated sportsperson is deemed the winner of the running race, will be deemed the winner of the Major Prize (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). 10. Entry Restrictions Entrant’s must be the holder of a current valid Australian driver’s licence. Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method. Guesses submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion. Each entrant must nominate a personal contact number, either a personal mobile number or home phone number (and not a business number), to be eligible for the prize (Personal Contact Number) and grants the Promoter the right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live on air. Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter (on their Personal Contact Number) between the following timeframe (or such other time specified by the Promoter) and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method: 12pm and 6pm AEST on specified weekdays during the Promotion Period, If the entrant does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the entrant consents to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant's voicemail message including their full name and/or business name live on air. Each entrant warrants that it has obtained all consents from third parties to broadcast live-air any information or names (including business names) in the entrant’s voicemail message. If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may replace that entrant by contacting another entrant and inviting them to appear on air or participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable). For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be invited to appear on air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize (where applicable). For the avoidance of doubt, entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a Finalist. Entrants must be able to attend the Major Prize Event at short notice (determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) at a time and location specified by the Promoter on Friday 21st September 2018. For the avoidance of doubt, if the entrant is unable to travel and attend the Major Prize Event, the entrant will forfeit their entry into the Promotion and the Promoter may select a new entrant to participate in the Major Prize Event (in its sole and absolute discretion). 11. Prize Clauses 8 - 15 Major Prize There is up to one (1) Major Prize to be won, comprising of: • One (1) 2018 Ford Escape ST Line in Blue Metallic including twelve (12) months vehicle registration, twelve (12) months compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty, and dealer delivery charges. Valued at up to $44,090 (incl GST). Domestic Travel Prize Where a Finalist’s ordinary state of residence is VIC, QLD, SA, or WA (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Finalist will be awarded the below Domestic Travel Prize, to facilitate the Finalist’s participation in the Major Prize Event: - One (1) adult return economy airfare from the Finalist’s closest capital city in VIC, QLD, SA or WA (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) to Sydney, NSW to attend the Major Prize Event (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges); and, - One (1) night minimum three star accommodation at a hotel in Sydney, NSW (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion); and, - Private return transfers from the airport to the hotel in Sydney, NSW; and, - Private return transfers from the hotel to the Major Prize Event location. For the avoidance of doubt, if a Finalist’s ordinary state of residence is NSW, they will not be awarded the Domestic Travel Prize. 13. Prize Restrictions Clauses 8 - 15 The Major Prize includes twelve (12) months vehicle registration, twelve (12) months compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty, and dealer delivery charges, but does not include comprehensive Competition Terms and Conditions Terms of Entry 1 Schedule and Terms of Entry (a) These Terms of Entry must be read together with the Schedule for this Promotion. The Schedule defines certain terminology used in these Terms of Entry. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept these Terms of Entry. (b) To the extent of any inconsistency between the Schedule and these Terms of Entry, the Schedule prevails. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter’s General Terms of Entry (available on the relevant Website) do not apply to this Promotion. 2 Eligible Entrants (a) Eligible States and Territories. Entry is open only to residents of the Eligible States and Territories specified in the Schedule (refer to checked boxes) who comply with the Age Restriction. (b) Associated persons and entities. Directors, officers, management, employees and other staff (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management, employees and other staff) of the Promoter or of its related bodies corporate, or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion or of any Australian commercial radio broadcaster are ineligible to enter. (c) Using different identities. Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to enter any Promotion run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name in this Promotion is ineligible to enter this Promotion. (d) Previous Winnings. A person is ineligible to enter this Promotion if that person or anyone from the same family or household has won prizes to the value of $500 or more in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter or any radio station owned or controlled by Nova Entertainment Pty Ltd in the thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period. (e) Correct Information. Entrants must only register in their own name. Any entries of an entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid. (f) Proof. Prize Claim Date Clause 18 Prizes must be claimed by 5pm AEDT Friday 14 December 2018 18. Unclaimed Prize Draw Clause 18 The unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 2pm AEDT Friday 14 December 2018 at the Promoter’s premises. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone and email, and their name will be published on the Station website. 19. Prize Delivery Clause 8 The Major Prize will be available for collection at the winner’s closest nominated Ford dealership, for the Major Prize winner to collect. The Major Prize provider will liaise with the Major Prize winner directly to provide specific pick-up details. 20. Additional Conditions Vehicles depicted in all promotional material relating to the Promotion are not necessarily the same colour as the Major Prize.
