Major Prize: One Major Prize winner will receive the following: Return economy flights for two adults from the winner’s closest capital city to Sydney, and from there connection to Parkes. Connection to Parkes departs Sydney on Friday 21 September 2018 at 9.00am (arriving Parkes at 10.05am); connection to Sydney departs Parkes on Sunday 23 September 2018 at 5.40pm (arriving Sydney 6.40.pm). Two nights’ accommodation in a self-contained cottage at River Gum Cottage with a queen bed, lounge and dining area for two adults, in Forbes; Return transfers from Parkes airport to Forbes, and from Forbes town precinct to Grazing Down the Lachlan. Two tickets to attend Grazing Down the Lachlan on 22 September 2018. Two tickets to attend a VIP event to meet Grazing Down the Lachan creative directors, farmers, wine makers and local caterers on Friday 21 September 2018. The Major Prize is valued up to $5000 AUD (RRP). Travel Prize Conditions: Winner and their travel companion must be over the age of 18. Passengers must travel together and be under one full booking reference. Once the winner has been notified, travel must be booked within 24 hours of acceptance. Winner must be available to attend this event from Friday 21 September 2018 to Sunday 23 September. (Flight times to be selected by organisers). If the winner lives in a remote area where flights cost more than the total prize amount, they are liable for the excess. Travel must be taken up and completed 23 September 2018. Blackout dates may apply. The Prize must be booked through SBS prior to Tuesday 19 September at 5pm (AEST). Travel includes standard checked baggage size per person, as per the airline conditions. Excess baggage is at the travellers discretion. Travel insurance is not included. The total value of the entire prize is up to $5000 AUD (RRP). A panel selected by the Promoter will judge all valid entries and the Winner(s) will be selected on 12pm Monday 18 September 2018 (AEST) at 14 Herbert Street, Artarmon, NSW 2064. Major Prize winner will be notified by email and phone on Monday 17 September 2018 (AEST). Winners’ names will also be published on the SBS website on Monday 17 September 2018 (AEST). Second Chance Draw and notification: If a Winner cannot be contacted by 5pm Tuesday 18 September 2018 AEST, the Promoter or its nominated agent will select another winner from all valid entries. Second Chance Draw winners will be notified by email and phone on Tuesday 18 September 2018. The following Grazing Down the Lachlan competition conditions apply: Prize is valid for two persons. All elements of the prize are subject to availability at time of booking and block-out dates may apply. The prize, including the travel component, is valid to be used and must be completed by 23 September 2018. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize and complete the relevant holiday before 23 September 2018 or, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize by the date stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited without further compensation. Accommodation prize is based on twin share and must be taken on consecutive nights. The winner will be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check-in for security purposes. All other expenses, not specifically stipulated in the prize package as an inclusion, remain the responsibility of the prize winner and their nominated travel companion(s) as incurred, including but not limited to: travel insurance, additional flight costs, excess baggage, any fees payable to airlines or suppliers for booking changes once a booking is confirmed and ticketed; spending money; additional meals (other than those included); taxes (except where otherwise stated); additional travel and transfers; items of a personal nature; in-room charges; gratuities; optional activities and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses. Prize winners should be satisfied that their chosen insurance cover fully meets their personal requirements especially in respect to inclement weather, personal injury or illness.
