The competition is open to Australian residents only. Individuals under the age of 18 may enter with the prior permission of a parent or guardian who is over 18. The competition is not open to individuals under the age of 16, those living outside of Australia, employees of Hachette or any of its affiliates, and immediate family members of Hachette employees. Furthermore, the competition is not open to anyone under 18 if the prize includes alcoholic beverages, any service or product unavailable by law to persons under 18, or an event not open to persons under 18.

The competition opens on 17 July 2023 at 10.00am and closes on 25 August 2023 at 5pm AEST. Entries received outside the competition period will be considered invalid.

Entrants must submit their details at the competition tab located at www.hachette.com.au/win/. Entry is free, but entrants are responsible for any costs or charges they may incur in entering. Entrants may enter more than once, but each entrant is only eligible to win one prize. Certain types of entries will be considered invalid, including entries that duplicate or nearly duplicate another entry, incomplete entries, entries that are determined to be fraudulent, and multiple entries from a single individual using multiple accounts on the same social media platform.

The winner will receive one hardcover proof of "Love Theoretically" by Ali Hazelwood. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, and no parts of the prize can be substituted for other items or benefits at the winner's request. If any element of the prize becomes unavailable, a similar prize of equal value will be awarded in lieu. Winners are responsible for any taxes or expenses not mentioned as being included in the prize. If the prize includes travel or entry to an event, any winner under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
