Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. Employees of Nationwide News Pty Ltd, associated companies, agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

When does the competition close?

The competition closes at 11:59 AM AEDT on December 6, 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, participants must visit the "Win It" page on taste.com.au, fill out the form, and answer the question, “What’s your favorite holiday tradition?” in 25 words or less. Entries are judged based on creativity, and only one entry per person is permitted.

The sole prize is a Liquor Loot top-shelf advent calendar valued at $500. This advent calendar features an exclusive selection of premium whiskies from six countries, including rare single cask editions and 16- and 18-year-old expressions. It also includes detailed tasting notes to enhance the experience. Highlights include: -

What is the total prize pool amount?

The total prize pool is valued at $500.

When will the winner be announced and how will the prize be delivered?

The winner will be selected based on the most creative entry at 2:00 PM AEDT on December 12, 2024, at 2 Holt Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. If the prize is unclaimed by the first winner, a second-round selection will take place on December 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM AEDT. The winner will be notified via phone or email and will receive the prize within one month of the competition’s conclusion.

Are there any additional terms or conditions?

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. It is subject to availability, and substitutions of equal or greater value may apply if necessary. The competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Entries deemed incomplete or invalid will not be considered.
