Terms and Conditions of Entry
Promoter
The Promoter is Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 96 138 299 288) trading as Edge Loyalty – Good Food Gift Card, of Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra Victoria 3141 (“the Promoter”).

Who may enter the Promotion?

The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are: (a) who are residents of Australia; b) who are not employees of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate or advertising agencies, or the immediate family of such employees. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee; and (c) must be over the age of 18 years.
How to enter
To enter, participants must follow all onscreen instructions to complete and submit the online entry form at http://giveaways.goodfoodgiftcard.com.au/giveaways/matilda/ (“Primary Entry”). Additional Entry in the Promotion can be obtained when an entrant sends the Promotion page to a friend, aged 18 or older, by following the Additional Entry instructions on the screen (“Additional Entry”). The friend must enter the Promotion through the referral in order for the referring entrant to obtain an Additional Entry. All entries must be received by 11.59pm AEST 15th December 2016
Conditions of entry
By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
As a condition of entry, entrants are required to opt in to receive future email communications from Village Roadshow Ltd and its related bodies corporate (which includes Edge Loyalty – Good Food Gift Card and Roadshow Films). Recipients may opt out of the email communications at any time following the unsubscribe email footer links.
Duration
The Promotion commences at 12pm (AEST) 24th November 2016 and closes 11.59pm AEST 15th December 2016 (“Promotional Period”). Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Entries received after the closing date will be deemed invalid.
Selection of winner/s
This Promotion is a game of chance. The Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Random drawing will be conducted on 16th December, 2016 at the offices of the Promoter’s agency Web Profits at Level 3, 79 Myrtle Street, Chippendale, Sydney at 12pm (AEST) by a representative from the Promoter. The Winner will be notified by email and will be required to complete and return an email confirmation of prize acceptance, the required documentation to claim the prize and a Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) within 4 days of notification, otherwise an alternate winner will be selected. The Prize will be awarded within 30 days after receipt and verification of completed Affidavit/Release or prize notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, or if a sent Affidavit/Release is returned to the Promoter as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every entrant and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion results.
Prize:
The following prize package will be awarded to one winner:
Four Theatrical Tickets & Cast Meet and Greet
Four A-Reserve tickets to the theatrical production “Matilda the Musical” at The Lyric Theatre in Brisbane. Tickets will be held at the Box Office under the winner’s name and can be collected with proof of ID from one hour prior to the show commencing.
To redeem the post show onstage cast meet and greet experience, the Winner and their three companions are to remain in their seats and a staff member from Playhouse Theatre, will collect the Winner and their companions.
Good Food Gift Card
The Winner will be posted one $500 Good Food Gift Card. The Winner will be required to provide the promoter with relevant documentation to receive the prize via post. The Winner must comply with the Gift Card terms of use provided with the prize, including expiry and activation instructions.
Roald Dahl Book Set
The Winner will be posted a Penguins Roald Dahl book set consisting of the following 10 books: Matilda, The Witches; George’s Marvelous Medicine; The BFG; Danny the Champion of the World; Esio Trot; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Charlie and the Glass Elevator; The Twits; James and the Giant Peach. The Winner will be required to provide the Promoter with relevant documentation to receive this prize via post.
Flights
Four return economy class airfares from the Winner’s nearest Australian state/territory capital city to Brisbane. Return flights must be to the same state/territory capital city destination as the departure. Post Promotion, the Winner will be required to provide the Promoter with relevant documentation to book the flights for the Winner and their companions. The Promoter will provide the Winner via email with a reservation document to use at check-in.
Airport transfers do not form part of this prize and the Winner and their companions must make their own way to and from the airport and establishment at their own expense in order to participate in the prize.
If the Winner resides in Queensland, flights will not be included in the prize and the Winner and their companions must make their own way to and from the accommodation establishment at their own expense in order to participate in the prize.
Accommodation
Accommodation is in the form of one nights stay in two twin size rooms (two people per room) at Rydges South Bank; 9 Glenelg St, South Brisbane QLD 4101. Post Promotion, the Winner will be required to provide the promoter with relevant documentation to book the flights for the Winner and their companions. The Promoter will provide the Winner via email with a reservation document to present at check-in.
Timings
The prize will take place on one of the following dates: 7-8th, 14th-15th, 21-22nd or 28th-29th January, 2017. The Winner will be notified the confirmed date after the Promotion Period. Prize dates are non transferable.
Prize Pool
The Prize pool is valued at AU$1,927.90 plus the value of the flights (estimated at $3,000) at time of booking post Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between from when the prize is awarded to the Winner and the ultimate redemption date of each prize. All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier of the applicable prize at the time of printing of these Terms and Conditions. Any incidental costs relating to any component of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from acceptable of the Prize under this Promotion.
Notification of winner
Good Food Gift Card will notify the Winner by email to the email address provided upon entry on 16th December 2016.The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the Winner’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim the prizes, and any information submitted by the Winner in entering the Promotion, before issuing the prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or a person nominated by the Promoter) or Winner or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the entries of that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
Entries
No responsibility is taken for late or misdirected entries. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during the Promotional Period.
Publication of names
By accepting a prize, the Winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed, photographed and filmed without further compensation. The winner/s personal information may be disclosed to state or territory departments and published as required by the relevant legislation regulating trade promotions.
Customer information
The Promoter will not share your personal information with other third party organisations (other than its own related bodies corporate as set out in these Terms and Conditions) unless:
you give the Promoter your express consent, or
sharing is otherwise required or permitted by law, or
this is necessary on a temporary basis to enable the Promoter’s contractors to perform specific functions.
The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and for the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions.
Privacy
Your personal information collected as part of the entry in the Promotion is collected to enable identification of the Winner and for marketing and promotional purposes under clause 4 of these Terms and Conditions. If entrants do not give the Promoter the required information, entrants cannot participate in the Promotion. The Promoter may use submitted information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion. In addition to any required disclosures referred to in Clause 10 above, your personal information will be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use the Winner’s name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Conduct of Promotion
If for any reason the Promotion does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or has engaged in conduct to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter does not accept responsibility and is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
The Promoter reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Promotion if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus, bot or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Promotion), and to select any winner from eligible entries received prior to any such event.
Limitation of liability
Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter’s liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, their employees and agents are not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or their employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner/sand, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner/s.
Printing errors
All valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Printing or other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.
