How can one enter the competition?
Entrants must enter their details at the competition tab located on the Hachette website (www.hachette.com.au/win/). Multiple entries are allowed, but each entrant is eligible to win only one prize.
Are there any additional conditions regarding the prize?
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Winners are responsible for any taxes they may be liable for as a result of winning the prize, as well as expenses not specifically mentioned as part of the prize.
What happens if there are changes to the event related to the prize?
If an event related to the prize is canceled or the dates are changed beyond Hachette's control, they may substitute another entertainment event or a reasonably equivalent prize.
Are there any disqualifications or invalid entries?
Invalid entries include those received outside the Competition Period, duplicate entries, incomplete entries, fraudulent entries, and entries deemed objectionable by Hachette.
How are winners selected, and when will they be contacted?
The winner will be selected based on the most original or creative entry among correct, valid, and eligible entries. Winners will be contacted via email within 3 days of judging the competition.
What are the general terms and conditions for participation?
Entrants must comply with the conditions of use of the prize, applicable Australian laws and regulations, and relevant website terms and conditions. Failure to enforce or waive any term by Hachette does not create any claim or right of action.
What happens to personal information provided during the competition?
Personal information collected during the competition will be used for the purpose of conducting and promoting the competition and in accordance with Hachette's Privacy Policy.
What is the governing law for these terms and conditions?
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales.
