Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the basis on which you can participate in the Unite The Fans contest (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should not enter the promotion and you will not be eligible to win the prize.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The start date for entries is December 29, 2018 (“Start Date”), pacific standard time, on the Unite The Fans website available at https://www.unitethefans.com (the “Website”) (“Start Date”). The closing time for entries is February 26, 2019 at 23.59, Pacific Standard Time (“Closing Time”). Entries received after the Closing Time will not be entered into the promotion.
TO ENTER: To enter the promotion, you will need to visit the Website and enter all required fields by no later than the Closing Time. Additional entries can be earned by following the steps laid out on the Website and as outlined in any related emails, for which consent has been provided to receive, by the Website. Any contest entrant (“Entrant”) must agree to receive promotional emails from FansUnite Entertainment Inc. (“FansUnite”) as part of the sign up process. This consent to receive promotional emails from FansUnite may be withdrawn at anytime by an Entrant. ELIGIBILITY: Entry is open to all consenting participants over the age of 18 who agree to the terms and conditions in full. Employees of Leicester City Football Club (“Leicester City”), FansUnite , StreetPR UK LTD or members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the promotion. No purchase is required to enter the promotion, but a valid email address is required. No refund may be claimed for any expenses incurred relating to the use of an email account or internet connection for the purpose of entering the promotion.
PRIZES: 1. Grand Prize - VIP Gameday Experience including match tickets for the fixture of Leicester City vs Arsenal April 2019), two airline tickets to London, UK, from any major international airport, two nights hotel accommodations, travel to and from the match, stadium tour, LCFC player meet and greet (pending player availability), accommodations, £100 daily allowance and 5,000 FanUnite tokens (the “Grand Prize”). 2. There will be 5 secondary prizes of: one LCFC signed jersey, 1,000 FansUnite tokens and a bag of FansUnite merchandise (“Secondary Prizes”). 3. There will be 5 tertiary prizes of: a FansUnite T-Shirt, a LCFC scarf, & 500 FansUnite tokens (“Tertiary Prizes”) 4. The “Best Fan Award” bonus prize for best video submission, to be selected by FansUnite, will include 2 tickets to a LCFC game (“Bonus Prize”) (collectively, the above are referred to as the “Prizes”, or individually, a “Prize”).
The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. FansUnite reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of the prizes) for a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the prizes (or any part of them) and, unless agreed otherwise in writing, the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. All costs and expenses not included within the prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s). Player meet and greets are offered at the sole discretion of Leicester City and are not guaranteed. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prizes where applicable.
SELECTION OF WINNER: The winner will be picked at random by FansUnite from all eligible entries received between the Start Date and Closing Time. The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided on entry within 72 hours of the Closing Time. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to confirm details for delivery of the prize within 10 days, an alternative winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible and correct entries.
PUBLICITY AND PERSONAL DAT The winner agrees to take part in expected publicity relating to the promotion, including being the subject of a photo and video journal of their travels and game day experience filmed by producers hired by FansUnite. FansUnite and Leicester City may use the winner's name and image and his/her comments relating to the Promotion and/or the prize(s) in perpetuity for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid to winner. Details of the winner’s name and county will be available on request for one month after the Closing Time by writing to FansUnite (including providing a stamped self-addressed envelope and stating the name and closing date of the promotion) at the address set out below. FansUnite will use entrants’ personal details for the purposes of administering the promotion and awarding the prize. The Entrants consent and agree that FansUnite may also pass on entrants’ details to Leicester City, and third party vendors associated with the contest, who may use the details to contact entrants about products and services, in accordance with Leicester City’s privacy policy, available at https://www.lcfc.com/club/privacy. By entering the Promotion, you are indicating your agreement to this.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed or incomplete entries, or for electronic entries or winning notifications that are not received or delivered (for any reason including as a consequence of communication or network failures). Any such entries will be deemed void. FansUnite reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion or these terms and conditions if circumstances outside reasonable control make this unavoidable. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to be invalid and the Prize(s) will not be awarded in respect of such entry. FansUnite reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to exclude any entries which it believes to be invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions. FansUnite’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Promotion, including the Prizes, and no correspondence will be entered into. Except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any negligence of Leicester City, to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Leicester City nor any of its officers, employees or agents shall be responsible, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, for: any loss, damage or injury to you and/or any third party or to any property belonging to you or any third party in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prizes (including the winner’s receipt or use of the same), resulting from any cause whatsoever; or any loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity or any indirect, economic or consequential losses whatsoever and howsoever caused.

FORCE MAJEURE: No party shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this agreement for the period that such failure or delay is a) beyond the reasonable control of a party, b) materially affects the performance of any of its obligations under this agreement, and c) could not reasonably have been foreseen or provided against, but will not be excused for failure or delay resulting from only general economic conditions or other general market effects.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted exclusively in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of British Columbia shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over this Agreement and any claim or dispute arising under it.
SPIRIT OF THE PROMOTION: If you attempt to compromise the integrity or proper operation of the Promotion by cheating or committing fraud in any way, FansUnite and Leicester City each reserve the right to render your entry invalid, seek damages from you and ban you from participating in any of their future Promotions.
