By entering The DJ CITY/KRK V-series Giveaway Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to all residents of Australia within the national address directory of Australia Post.
3. HOW TO ENTER
The competition commences on MONDAY OCTOBER 1st 2018 and concludes on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31st 2018.
To qualify, Entrants must have ‘Liked’ the DJ City Facebook page, and entered their name and email address in the form provided. Entrants must also remain an existing Facebook fan of this page throughout the duration of the competition.
All qualifying Entrees must be received before the closing date, 11:59 pm AEST WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31st 2018.

4. PRIZE
There will be one winner drawn. The winner will be contacted on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1st 2018. The winner will receive one prize package, as set out below.
The prize consists of:
2 x KRK V6 Series 4 Studio Monitors
2 x XLR to XLR balanced 1.5m signal cable
Total prize value is $1499.00 AUD
The winner is responsible for the collection of the prize from one of the six DJ City stores:
DJ City Dandenong, 318 Hammond Rd, Dandenong South, VIC, 3175.
DJ City Richmond, 14/2 Bromham Place, Richmond, VIC,
DJ City Oakleigh, 39 Regent Street, Oakleigh, VIC, 3166.

If an interstate winner is drawn, DJ City can arrange a courier service to deliver the prizes to an allocated address supplied by the winner via phone call, DJ City shall cover these courier costs.
In participation of the competition, the winner agrees to co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The winner agrees to grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
If a winner of the prize is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

5. HOW TO WIN
There will be one winner chosen from the total pool of entries received. Each entrant who has entered the competition, that met all the criteria and registered all details required (Qualifying Entrant) will be eligible. One winner will be selected at Random by a sweepstakes-type draw.
The winner will be notified by an e-mail/phone call on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31st 2018. The winner’s name will be announced on the DJ City Facebook Page once the winner has confirmed their price. The winner, once crowned, on the collection or receiving of their prize, is required to have a photo taken of themselves and their prize, this will be used as promotion media for both the DJ City Website, Facebook page and Instagram page and remain viewable until the promoter sees fit.
The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
DJ City will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
DJ City & affiliates will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) whilst undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw
c) in the participation in any prize
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail
e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person
f) in relation to the failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion
DJ City (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
