TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entering in this ‘Christmas in Surfers
Paradise ? 12 Days of Giving ? Prize Draw’ is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All times stipulated in
these Terms and Conditions are expressed in QLD local time.
2. The Promoter is Surfers Paradise Alliance Limited (SPA). ABN 19 097 068 285.
3. The Sponsors are: Experience Oz, Robina Town Centre, Foxtel, Elite Holiday Homes, Hilton Surfers Paradise, Mantra
Group, Marriott Resort Surfers Paradise, Novotel Surfers Paradise, Q1 Resort & Spa, QT Gold Coast, The Ruby
Collection, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, The Island, Voco Hotel Gold Coast.
Eligibility
4. The Prize Draw is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
5. The following are ineligible to enter the Prize Draw:
(i) employees of the Promoter, or any of the Promoter’s agencies that are associated with the Prize Draw
(ii) employees of the the Sponsors, or any of the Sponsor’s agencies that are associated with the Prize Draw
(iii) the spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of an excluded
employee; and
(iv) any person who the Promoter has previously notified is not permitted to enter the Promoter’s promotions.
When to enter
6. The competition opens Saturday 1st December 2018 at 1.00am and closes Sunday 23rd December 2018 at midnight.
7. There are two ways to enter the Prize Draw:
(i) Complete an online entry form between the dates and times of 1st December 2018, 1:00am, and 23rd
December 2018, midnight (both inclusive) or;
(ii) Complete a paper entry form between the hours of 10am – 7pm daily, between the dates of 13th December
2018 – 23rd December 2018 (both inclusive).
8. There will be a daily cut off for paper entry forms at 7pm.
9. There will be a daily cut off for online entry forms at midnight.
How to enter
10. To enter the Prize Draw, the participant must complete either the online or paper entry form during the time periods
stated above.

11. The online entry form is available on the SPA website at the following link: http://www.surfersparadise.com/whats?

on/annual?events/christmas?in?surfers?paradise?2018/12?Days?of?Giving. This form must be completed in full and
submitted online to be eligible.
12. The paper entry form is available from the ‘Christmas in Surfers Paradise’ activation zone, Cavill Mall, Surfers Paradise.
This form must be completed legibly, in full and placed into the designated box on site.
13. Any illegible or incomplete form will be invalid and not included in the Prize Draw.
Number of entries permitted
14. One entry per person.
Prizing
15. There will one (1) prize revealed per day over 12 days between 13th to 24th December 2018. Prizes will be revealed
daily at 10.00am in the activation zone.
16. Prizes will increase in value over the 12 days, with the major prize of the highest value revealed on 24th December
2018.

Drawing
18. 12 prizes will be awarded at the end of the 12 days on 24th December 2018, between 12.00pm – 2.00pm.
19. All eligible entries received over the 12 days will have the opportunity to win the prize for the day they entered,
according to the cut?off times stated in points 8?9 above.
20. All eligible entries will have the opportunity to win the major prize on 24th December 2018.
21. The winners will not be present at the drawing and do not need to be on?site to collect their prize.
22. Prize winner names will not be published.
Prize conditions
23. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash or cannot
be sold.
Winner notification
24. The winners will be contacted on 24th December 2018 via email.
Unclaimed prizes
25. In the event the prizing is unclaimed for two months, a re?draw will take place at approximately 3:00pm on Friday 22nd
February 2019.
Use and disclosure of information
26. By entering the Prize Draw participants are nominating to receive the Surfers Paradise community e?newsletter and to
have their personal information collected by Surfers Paradise Alliance for our exclusive use.
27. Personal information collected is not disclosed to anyone outside the company without prior consent.
28. By nominating to receive information from Surfers Paradise Alliance, participants consent to receive email
communications from time to time. To stop receiving communications participants can opt out by clicking unsubscribe
upon receiving the first form of e?communication.
29. In entering the Prize Draw participants will also have the option to subscribe to the Experience Oz e?newsletter. In
doing so they are providing explicit consent for their personal information to be provided to the above named third
party (Experience Oz). This personal information will be securely transferred to ensure no breach in privacy occurs.
30. Once the above stated personal information is transferred to the third party, Surfers Paradise Alliance is no longer
liable for the use and disclosure, security or general management of this information. Liability is transferred to the
third party who holds this personal information.
Additional Information
31. If, for any reason, the promotion is cancelled due to causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or
affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the
right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the
entry process and cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
32. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs that is beyond the reasonable control of the promoter and prevents
the promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the promoter will not be liable for any failure to
perform or delay in performing its obligation. The promoter reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to cancel,
terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
33. The promoter, its directors, officers and employees, related body corporates, and their respective officers, employees
and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct,
indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the marketing of this
promotion or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
34. The promoter reserves the right to re?draw the winner in the event of any of the following: (i) breach of these terms
and conditions; (ii) forfeiting a prize; (iii) not claiming a prize; (iv) inability to contact the winner.
