What is the eligibility criteria for entering the competition?
The competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and older who are subscribers of the Sunrise Family Newsletter and receive the Channel Seven and affiliate broadcasting signals. However, employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, Transmission Films, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
When does the competition start and end?
The competition starts on Tuesday, 16th May 2023 at 10:30 am (AEST) and ends on Monday, 22nd May 2023 at 12:00 pm (AEST). This period is referred to as the "Competition Period."
How can Sunrise Family newsletter subscribers enter the competition?
Subscribers must click on the "MAYBE I DO" tile in the newsletter, which will redirect them to the designated competition page on the Sunrise website (www.sunrise.com.au). They need to register their full name, address (including postcode), a valid email address, and telephone number. Additionally, they must submit an answer to the competition question in 25 words or less: "Why do you and your friends want to see this film?"
When is the deadline for submitting entries?
Entries must be received by Monday, 22nd May 2023 at 12:00 pm (AEST).
Can entrants submit multiple entries?
Yes, entrants can enter as many times as they would like.
Are there any restrictions on the content of the entries?
Entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant, written in English, and free from any claims by other parties. Entries that the Promoter considers offensive, inappropriate, or infringing upon intellectual property rights will be deemed ineligible.
What happens to the entry details provided by the participants?
Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The prize winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide, and no fee will be provided to the winners for such use.
What is the prize and its value?
The winner of the competition will receive a private screening of the film "MAYBE I DO" in cinemas on May 27, for themselves and 10 friends. The total maximum prize value is $5,000.00 AUD.
Can the prize be resold or used for commercial purposes?
The prize has no official resale value, and it may not be authentic if purchased from a third party. Prizes cannot be resold, offered for resale, or used for advertising, promoting, or other commercial purposes without the written consent of The Seven Network.
How and when will the winner be determined?
The winner will be judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter based on authenticity, creativity, and originality. The judging will take place on Monday, 22nd May 2023, at 12:15 pm (AEST). The competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
How will the winner be notified?
The winner will be notified via email or phone by Wednesday, 24th May 2023. The winners will also be published in the following Sunrise newsletter.
