Win a share of $25,000! - To enter the competition you must: a) be an Australian resident aged 18 or above at the time of entering; b) complete and successfully submit the entry form located at yournewsagent.com.au, completing all required fields including but not limited to: personal identifying information including your first name, surname, suburb, postcode, and a valid email address; indication for which newsagency receives your endorsement (Vote), providing both the newsagency name and suburb; a written submission of no more than 100 words explaining the reasons for your selection; and indication that you accept these terms and conditions in full. Part 1 Part One is three monthly prize draws of $2,500. It is a game of chance. Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries received by the promoter during each monthly period. The monthly periods are: 12:01am (AEST) on 14/05/13 to 12:00am (AEST) on 13/06/13 12:01am (AEST) on 14/06/13 to 12:00am (AEST) on 13/07/13 12:01am (AEST) on 14/07/13 to 12:00am (AEST) on 13/08/13 The monthly draws will be held at Level 3, 33-35 Atchison Street St Leonards NSW 2065 on 13/06/13, 15/07/13 and 13/08/13 starting at 4:00pm (AEDT). Part 2 Part Two is one major prize of $10,000. It is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be judged (by the promoter) as to whether it is a valid entry. A valid entry must contain a newsagents name and suburb and an original and creative reason as to why that newsagent deserves to be voted for. The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The major prize judging will be held at Level 3, 33-35 Atchison Street St Leonards NSW 2065 on 13/09/13 at starting at 4:00pm (AEDT). Part 3 Part three is a prize for the newsagency that received the most valid entries (Votes) from Part 1 and Part 2. The prize will be awarded to the owner(s) of the winning newsagency. The newsagents prize judging will be held at Level 3, 33-35 Atchison Street St Leonards NSW 2065 on 13/09/13 starting at 4:00pm (AEDT). Should there be two or more newsagents with an equal number of votes, the newsagent that received the most original and creative vote in part two will be determined the winner. Upon conclusion of the Promotional Period, one major Newsagent Prize will be awarded to an Australian Newsagents’ Federation Member. The Newsagent Prize consists of one AU$2,500 cheque for the member to keep, and one AU$5,000 cheque for the member to donate. The value of the donated cheque must be contributed to a Nominated Recipient meeting criteria outlined below; whether provided as cash, as goods and services appropriate to the Nominated Recipient, or as event funding to raise further funds for the Nominated Recipient. Appropriate Nominated Recipients include: registered Non-Profit sports or social clubs; sports or social clubs attached to an educational institution; registered Australian charities; businesses or organisations providing Animal or Social Welfare; recognised community organisations. The maximum total prize value is AU$25,000.
