Win a Smart Monitor M8 - Promotion The Promotion is a game of skill for the Prize that may be won by an Eligible Entrant who,
during the Promotional Period:
(a) registers their interest on the Website and agrees to receive marketing
communications about the 2022 Samsung Smart Monitor range and other
Samsung goods and/or services (which requires providing the personal
information requested);
(b) answers the Question on theWebsite in 25 words or less in accordance with the
Criteria; and
(c) complies with these T&Cs and other reasonable directions of the Promoter (on
the Website or otherwise),
(each, an "Eligible Entry" or “Eligible Entries”). The Eligible Entry thatthe Panel
determines best meets the Criteria will win the Prize.
Eligible Entrants Australian residents aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of the Promoter and
any agency associated with this Promotion, and their immediate family.
"Immediate family" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child
or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first
cousin.

Judging and the
Prize
All Eligible Entries will be reviewed within 30 days ofthe end of the Promotional Period
by a panel ofjudges comprising employees ofthe Promoter and/or employees of an agent
of the Promoter ("Panel"). The Panel will determine, in its absolute discretion, the best
answer submitted as part of an Eligible Entry that best satisfies the Criteria. The Eligible
Entrant who submitted the best Eligible Entry will win the Prize ("Winner").
The Winner will be notified via the email address they registered when submitting their
Eligible Entry thatthey havewon aPrize. ThePrizewillbe delivered by postto the Winner’s
Australian address within 60 days of selection as a Winner.
Replacement
winner
If a Winner is not able to satisfy these T&Cs or forfeits or fails to accept their Prize within
forty-eight (48) hours of being notified that he/she is a Winner, then that Winner will be
deemed to have forfeited their Prize. In those circumstances, the Panel will meet to
determine the Eligible Entrant who, in the Panel’s absolute discretion, submitted the
next best Eligible Entry that satisfies the Criteria out of the remaining Eligible
Entries ("Replacement Winner"). The Replacement Winner will be notified that they have

won the Prize in the samemanner as theWinner wasnotified. These T&Cs apply to a
Replacement Winner as if they were a Winner.
General (a) Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance ofthese T&Cs.
(b) This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
(c) The Promoterreserves the rightto verify the validity of entries and entrants
(including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any
entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these T&Cs or who
tampers with the entry process. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
(d) Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Entrants are
responsible for ensuring their correct Personal Information is provided and any
updated details are notified to the Promoter.
(e) The Promotermay, inits sole and absolute discretion, ignoreany entrywhich it deems
to be offensive or inappropriate, which includes or is suspected of including or
breaching third party intellectual property rights, which is not the entrant’s original
work, or which otherwise fails to comply with these T&Cs.
(f) The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. If the
Prize is unavailable,the Promoter, in its discretion,reserves the rightto substitute
the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification.
(g) If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as
reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent
permitted by law, to: (a) disqualify any entrant; or (b) modify, suspend, terminate or
cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
(h) Except for liability which cannot be excluded as a matter of law, including the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Promoter excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity), whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising in any way out of the
Promotion, including any tax liability.
Privacy Samsung (or third parties on its behalf) may collect personal information to conduct the
Promotion and disclose such information to third parties forthis purpose, including
agents, contractors, service providers and offer suppliers. Validity of an Eligible Entry is
conditional on providing this information. Some of these entities may be located outside
Australia, including in Singapore, Korea and the Philippines. Entrants acknowledge that
by consenting to this disclosure, Samsung is not obliged to take reasonable steps to
ensure overseas recipients do not breach Australian privacy law. All entrants consent to
their personal information being collected and stored for this purpose in accordance
with Samsung’s privacy policy available at www.samsung.com/au, which forms part of
these T&Cs.
