Harvey Norman & TCL Hyundai A-League Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions of Entry (“Terms”)
1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms. 2. The Promotion commences on Friday, 17 October 2014, at 9am AESDT and closes on Friday, 12 December 2014, at 11.59 pm AESDT. 3. To enter the Promotion, an entrant must go the Harvey Norman AU Facebook page and complete an entry form with their name, address, daytime telephone number, email address and tell us in 25 words or less “what is the most beautiful feature of a TCL Ultra High Definition Television and why”. 4. The promotion is only open to residents of Australia. 5. One entry per person only. 6. There are three (3) prizes (“Prizes”). 1st Prize is one (1) TCL 65" Ultra High Definition Smart LED LCD Television with 3D Capability (U65E5691FDS), valued at $2499, and six (6) Hyundai A-League Season 10 Tickets to the winner’s choice of a single game (excluding preliminary finals, semi finals or grand final), valued at $372. The tickets cannot be split to attend different games – tickets must all be used at a single game. Total value of the 1st Prize is $2871. 2nd Prize is one (1) TCL 50" Ultra High Definition Smart LED LCD Television with 3D Capability (U50E5691FDS), valued at $1299, and four (4) Hyundai A-League Season 10 Tickets to the winner’s choice of a single game (excluding preliminary finals, semi finals or grand final), valued at $248. The tickets cannot be split to attend different games – tickets must all be used at a single game. Total value of the 2nd Prize is $1547. 3rd Prize is one (1) TCL 23" High Definition LED LCD Television (L23F3380), valued at $249, and two (2) Hyundai A-League Season 10 Tickets to the winner’s choice of a single game (excluding preliminary finals, semi finals or grand final), valued at $128. The tickets cannot be split to attend different games – tickets must both be used at a single game. Total value of the 3rd Prize is $377. 7. The total combined value of the Prizes is $4795 (“Prizes”). 8. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 9. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 10. Judging for the Prizes will take place at Harvey Norman, B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140, on Wednesday, 17 December 2014, at midday AEST (“Judging”). 11. Judging will be based on the originality and creative merit of the entry. 12. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 13. Winners will be notified by telephone within two (2) working days of the Judging (“Winners”). 14. Winners will be notified via email within five (5) working days of the Judging. 15. Winners’ details will be published in The Australian on Wednesday, 24 December 2014. 16. The Promoter reserves the right to announce and/or publish the Winners name and/or photograph for publicity purposes. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to request Winners provide suitable identification of proof of age and identity prior to awarding a Prize. 18. If a Winner is under 18 years old, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner’s parent or guardian. 19. Each television that forms part of a Prize will be delivered to the relevant Winner’s nominated address (within Australia only) within twenty-one (21) days after the Winner has nominated his/her address for delivery. Delivery must be at a time convenient to both parties. 20. Hyundai A-League Season 10 Tickets that form part of a Prize will be sent via express post to the relevant Winner’s nominated address (within Australia only). Each Winner must nominate within two (2) weeks of being notified by telephone the Hyundai A-League Season 10 game they wish to attend as part of their Prize and the address they wish the tickets to be sent to. 21. The Prize will be forfeited if a Winner cannot be determined. 22. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid. 23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and claims for Prizes and reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where the entry process has been tampered with. 24. The Promoter is not responsible if the value of the Prizes changes between the date of publication of these Terms and the date the Prizes are awarded. 25. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if (a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winners or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control. 26. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter and the Franchisees from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter and/or Franchisees for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion. 27. The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. 28. By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being collected by the Promoter and/or Franchisee and/or Franchisor and used by the Promoter and/or Franchisee and/or Franchisor for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and notifying the Winner. 29. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the office of the Promoter and/or Franchisee and/or Franchisor. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. 30. By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being disclosed to the Promoter and the Franchisor (Harvey Norman Holdings Ltd) for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and notifying the Winner. 31. If an entrant does not provide their personal information the Promoter will not be able to process the entry or notify that entrant if they are a Winner. 32. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy may be obtained at http://www.harveynorman.com.au/privacy-policy/generic-publications/. The Privacy Policy of a relevant Franchisee may be obtained at the relevant Franchisee’s store. The Privacy Policies contain information about how entrants may access and correct their personal information, how the entrant can complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how the complaint will be handled. 33. Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the Franchisees and their related bodies corporate and contractors and any other organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
