? No purchase necessary. Information on how to enter this promotion and prizes form part of these Rules and
Regulations of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Rules and Regulations of entry. Entry is
via facebook.com/visitgermany
? Entry into this promotion is open to all legal residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of Visit Germany
or Gate 7 their immediate families are not eligible to enter the promotion. This is a Game of Skill and chance plays no
part in determining the winner.
? The competition and registration commences at 10:00am (AEDT) on Tuesday 10th
,July 2018. All registrations must be
received by 1:00pm (AEDT) on Monday 20th August 2018. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt
into the Promoter’s database, and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
? All entries will be viewed and judged by a judging panel at Gate 7 and Visit Germany, Level 1,97 Rose Street,
Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia, on 5:00pm (AEDT) on Monday 20th August 2018. The winner will be notified by
email within10 working days of the relevant judging date. The winner will be determined on their creativity and originality.
? To enter the competition, users will be required to go to the contest facebook page and click enter/ Entrants will also be
required to leave personal information including entrant’s name and e-mail address.
? Major Prize: 2 economy return flights with Scoot and 2 nights stay at the Pullman Hotel Berlin. If the Winner is under
18 years of age the Prize will be awarded to the Winner’s legal parent or guardian.
? Gate 7, German National Tourism Office and associated companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions
or other issues that may exist around the prize.
? The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be considered once the judges decide on the Winner.
? The Prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry. No part of the Prize is exchangeable, transferable or
redeemable for cash.
? All prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The
Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize values. If any element of the Prize is unavailable for
whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize element for a prize element of similar value,
subject to state/government regulation.
? The Promoter and each of its related corporate bodies, associated agencies and companies associated with this
promotion will not be liable for (a) any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss
of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any
person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion; (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the
Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner
or entrant; (e) or accepting or taking of prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case
that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
? Should an entrant’s contact information change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify
the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
? Gate 7, German National Tourism Office and each of their related corporate bodies, associated agencies, and
companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for any delay in delivery once prizes have left the
Promoter's premises.
? The Promoter reserves the right to request entrants and/or Winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at
the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and
entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that an entrant or Winner
cannot provide suitable proof of identity, the entrant or Winner will forfeit their entry/prize in whole and no substitute
will be offered.
? All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about the entrant to
enable them to participate in this promotion, which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of
processing and conducting the promotion, but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
? If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the
Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion,
the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process,
take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to
state/government regulation.
? STANDARD OPT-IN: All opt-in entries for The Promoter will become property of the respective party. All entries will be
entered into a database and the relevant party may use the entrant’s names, addresses and telephone numbers for
future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being
paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By opting-in, entrants confirm that they allow their information to be used
for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their information being used for future marketing purposes, entrants
should contact The Promoter at the address set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details
should be directed to The Promoter.
? In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders
it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil
unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the
same conditions subject to state regulation.
? The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this promotion
by any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the
promotion or acts in violation of these Rules and Regulations of entry, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the
intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
