Win a Trip for 2 to Thailand

1.By entering this competition draw (the “Promotion”) and by accepting a Prize, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2.The competition commences on the 29th August 2019 (AEST) and concludes on the 18th September 2019 (AEST).
3.Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand (able to present the proof of address) who: (a) filled in and submitted the form at www.amazingthailand.com.au/seeyourselfinthailand; and (b) are the intended recipients of the promotion
4.The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
5.The prize is for 2 persons including:
Return economy flight tickets flying Thai Airways departing Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth), or New Zealand (Auckland).

6.Travel is valid for a maximum of two passengers in any one trip, and one passenger must be the winner. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and will expire if not used by the dates referred to. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
7.The prize is not available during peak times such as Chinese New Year, public holidays, school holidays including Easter periods and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.
8.Travel must be completed between 1 February 2020 – 31 July 2020. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the entire prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
9.Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Advanced reservation is required. The resort shall not be responsible for loss, alterations, theft or expiration of the certificate. The gift voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discount or other certificates. Unused portions of the gift certificate are non-refundable. All incidental items such as food and beverage, mini bar, telephone and laundry will be at the person’s expense and should be settled on departure.
10.Air travel is based on a per person allowance for a maximum of 2 guests travelling economy to Thailand. One passenger must be the winner and the winner/s and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city as stipulated in the prize and are responsible for transport from their residence to the departing airport. A surcharge may apply for select flights. Additional luggage and upgrades are at the winners’ expense, payable at the time of booking or settled directly with the airline. Air tickets and airlines are at the discretion of the promotor based on an airfare allowance and the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Seats are limited and may not operate direct or be available on all flights or all dates. All taxes payable, airline and government are the responsibility of the prize winner. Tickets are non-refundable.
11.The winner will be determined by a random draw of eligible entrants from all entries received throughout the duration of the competition draw period by a panel at Tourism Authority of Thailand, Suite 20.02, Level 20, 56 Pitt Street Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, on 23 September at 17:00 (AEST).
12.The winner will be notified through the email they provided will be announced via Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Facebook https://www.facebook.com/HugThailand
13.The promoter’s selection is final.
14.The winner/s (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), transfers, additional accommodation due to flight schedules, optional excursions, tipping, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion(s) are fit to travel and have received appropriate immunisations and/or health checks prior to taking the prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights, and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
15.If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
16.The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
17.If the winner is under 18 years old the Prize is deemed to be awarded to their parents or legal guardian.
18.International Travel: The winner and his or her travel companion are responsible for complying with health and any other government requirements that may apply to the prize. All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel documentation, including valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of government authorities at the relevant destinations. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Entrants should obtain travel advice from independent sources, such as the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
19.By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
20.You agree that, if you are a Prize winner, your name and photograph may be used for publicity purposes in social media by the Promoter, without remuneration, and you agree that you must make yourself available for this purpose.
21.To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and any other person or party associated with this Promotion, shall not be liable to you in respect of any loss, damage or injury whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect, and/or consequential loss or damage), including personal injury suffered as a result of, or arising in connection with, the Promotion or winning (or not winning) a Prize.
