Terms and Conditions of Entry
Adelaide French Festival (11 – 13 January 2019)

1. Method of Entry
There are three (3) ways for an individual person to be entered into the draw:
• purchase a ticket from BASS to any show in the 2019 Adelaide French Festival.
Each ticket purchased will entitle a person to a separate entry into the draw
OR
• Take a photo of themselves or with friends at an official Adelaide French Festival “Brittany
Activation” in November and January OR
• Sign up to the Adelaide French Festival mailing list
2. Duration of Promotion
This competition will run from 9am 23 October 2018 to midnight 13 January 2019.
3. Name of Promoter
The promoter is Adelaide Festival Centre Trust (ABN 90 940 220 425) of King William Road, Adelaide
South Australia 5000, Tel 08 8216 8600.
4. Eligibility
Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
Employees and Trust Members of the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust and their immediate families
are ineligible to enter this promotion.
5. Draw
The prize will be drawn at 12 midday on Monday 14 January 2019 at the Adelaide Festival Centre,
King William Road Adelaide, 5000. The winner will be drawn using a random manual barrel draw.
6. Prize Details
The grand prize winner will receive a 7 night holiday to France in 2019, to be taken between 25 June
– 31 August, 2019:
- Return economy flights for two from Adelaide to Paris, France
- 7 nights’ accommodation at 4 stars accommodation including daily breakfast
- Return Airport Transfers between Paris and Brest, Brittany
- Total prize value $8,000
All prize values are the recommended retail value in Australian dollars and are correct at time of
printing. The Promoter takes no responsibility for variations in the prize value.
7. Prize Conditions
Prize must be taken on the dates specified by the promoter, (25 June – 31 August, 2019)
Winner and their companion must travel together on the same flights and stay in the specified
accommodation. Flights are economy class only.
Winner and their companion must have appropriate and valid passport before travelling (the cost of
which is the winner’s responsibility).
Winner may be required to produce credit card details upon check in to hotel for incidental charges
not covered in these terms and conditions.
Winner and their companion are responsible for applying and obtaining any necessary visas and to
pay any associated fees before travelling.
Travel insurance is not included.
All prizes are subject to availability, non-transferable and not exchangeable.
Prize is not redeemable for cash.
The Promoter will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any
element of any prize is not provided. The Promoter may, subject to State regulations, substitute a
different prize of equivalent value in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions.
8. Publication and Notification of Winner
The competition will be promoted by BASS Ticketing Representatives, in the 2019 Adelaide French
Festival brochure, signage at Adelaide Festival Centre, on the Promoter’s Adelaide French Festival
website, via newsletters and direct mail letters and via Adelaide French Festival venues and
promotional events.
Winner will be notified via phone, email and post.
Winner will be published on the Promoter’s Adelaide French Festival website on Monday 14 January
2019 at https://www.adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au/
9. Publicity materials
It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicise, broadcast and communicate to
the public the names, characters, likeness and voice of any entrants for any promotion or matter
incidental to the Promotion.
Entrants may be required by the Promoter to participate in any photo, recording, video and/or film
session(s) (the “publicity materials”) and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to use such
publicity materials in any medium (including the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit,
unless that person advises the Promoter at the time of entering the Promotion that he/she wishes to
retain his/her anonymity.
10. Release and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release from, and indemnify the Promoter against all
liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the
Promotion including (but not limited to) loss of income, loss of opportunity, personal injury and
damage to property, whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or
omission or otherwise.
11. Decisions Final
All decisions and actions of the Promoter relating to the Promotion and/or redemption of the prizes
are exercised at its absolute discretion and are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants
or any other person will be entered into.
12. Late entries
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted, incomplete, late, lost or
misdirected entries or for any technical malfunction of any communications network.
