General terms and conditions
    1.Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. By submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and condi tions.
    2.The promotion commences on 9:00AM EST Monday 7 March 2016 and concludes at 5:00PM EST Monday 18 April 2016. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 21 years and over.
    3.To enter the promotion, participants must do the following:
        Visit discovermagicalkenya.com.au
        Choose one of the 5 x available Experiences, from ‘Adventure’, ‘Wildlife’, ‘Luxury’, ‘Culture’, or ‘Conservation’
        Navigate through the 5 x sub-pages within your chosen Experience
        Click ‘Enter’ on the last page of your chosen Experience
        Fill the entry form (compulsory fields: First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Postcode); and
        Tick the “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” checkbox.
    4.Maximum of 5 x entries per person.
    5.All entries become the property of the promoter, Kenya Tourism Board (KTB).
    6.By entering the competition participants consent to Kenya Tourism Board and prizes partners: Qatar Airways, Canon and The Africa Safari Co using entrant’s data and adding it to their database for the delivery of future news and information. Participants will have the right to unsubscribe from this communication.
    7.By entering the Competition and claiming a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use their name for publicity and competition purposes without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright.
    8.This promotional draw operates under Gaming License laws relating to each State and Territory in Australia as a trade lottery.
    9.There will only be 1 x winner selected. The winner will be selected at 12:00PM EST on Tuesday 19 April 2016, by random computer-generated selection at The Trophy Room, 545 South Dowling St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010.
    10.The winner will be notified via email on Wednesday 20 April 2016, at 12:00PM EST.
    11.If the winner cannot be contacted within one week of the draw, a new winner will be redrawn at 12:00PM EST on Wednesday 27 April 2016 at The Trophy Room, 545 South Dowling St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. The new winner will be notified by email.
    12.Kenya Tourism Board reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify:
        any entries that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the promotion process;
        any entries that Kenya Tourism Board considers manipulative, unrepresentative, or disproportionate;
        any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the promotion process.
    13.Employees and Directors of Kenya Tourism Board, or agencies associated with the promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the promotion.
    14.The prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. It is non-refundable and cannot be altered in any way and cannot be taken in parts.
    15.Kenya Tourism Board expressly disclaim any responsibility and entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the promotion entities from and against any and all claims, actions, demands and/or liability for injury, damage or loss whatsoever relating to or arising in connection with participation in this promotion (regardless of the cause of such injury, damage or loss) and/or the delivery and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prizes awarded.
    16.This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook.
    17.Kenya Tourism Board’s decision concerning any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    19.The Promoter and its related bodies and/or Partners may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding their products and services, including contacting entrants via by email, mail, phone and/or SMS without further reference or compensation to the entrant, for an indefinite period or until the entrant opts out from any Partner involved with this Promotion. The email platform of some Partners may be housed outside Australia.
    20.By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees in addition to the above uses, that the Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information, to State and Territory lottery departments, the winners’ names will be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation and the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner's names and suburb in any media.
    21.The Promoter collects information about entrants, including names and contact details which entrants provide when registering or using our services, as well as information from data houses, social media services, affiliates and other entities. Prizes terms and conditions
    24.Participants who satisfy the above entry requirements will be eligible to win the $18,579 AUD Kenya Tourism Board prize package (as at Tuesday 9 February 2016):
        2 x return economy flights with Qatar Airways to Nairobi Kenya, departing Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, or Adelaide International Airport, valued at $4,000 AUD.
        1 x night accommodation either The Boma Hotel Nairobi or The Southern Sun Mayfair Nairobi hotel valued at $350 AUD.
        Transfer to and from the Nairobi airport valued at $150 AUD.
        6 x nights total accommodation in Ol Donyo Lodge, Mara Toto Camp and Angama Mara, valued at $10,400 AUD.
        Internal flights, park fees, game activities, valued at $2,480 AUD.
        All meals and non-alcoholic drinks at Ol Donyo Lodge, Mara Toto Camp & Angama Mara.
        1x Canon PowerShot G3 X, valued at $1,199 AUD.
    25.The travel prize is valid for 2 x people however there is only 1 x camera prize.
    26.All travel must be booked in by the 31st May 2016. The prize winner and their travel companion must be must be available to travel between the period of 1 November 2016 to 30 November 2016.
    27.Flights, accommodation and transfers are subject to availability at the time of booking and embargo periods, and blackout periods may apply.
    28.Kenya Tourism Board reserves the right to substitute for any reason whatsoever a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” without warranty nor guarantee, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
    29.The winners desired travel dates must be communicated to Kenya Tourism Board representative within 21 days of winning the prize.
    30.Tour arrangements will be made by a designated Kenya Tourism Board representative in conjunction with the prize partners whose decisions regarding the itinerary are final.
    31.Kenya Tourism Board accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit.
    32.The prize winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together on the same dates/times. The winner (and their travel companion) will be responsible for making their own way to the selected departure port of either Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Perth and will be responsible for this cost.
    33.No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize will be awarded for any reason, including for cancellation of trip due to natural calamities or any other force majeure event.
    34.Once the trip is confirmed, the departure date cannot be changed or winner will forfeit the prize package.
    35.The winner of the prize (and their travel companion) will not accrue any Qatar Airways frequent flyer points from taking the prize.
    36.All meals are included at Ol Donyo, Mara Toto and Mara Angama. Prize winners will need to cover own meals whilst in transit and on the last day at the airport before they depart. Non-alcoholic drinks are included at Ol Donyo, Mara Toto and Mara Angama.
    37.Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
    38.Spending money, meals outside of the three properties, travel taxes, travel insurance, passports, visas, travel vaccinations and medication, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the prize winner.
    39.Picture identification (valid driver’s license, passports, visas or other picture identification) is the winner’s and their companion’s responsibilities.

    40.There is 1 x prize package and all inclusions are valued at $18,579 AUD, as at Tuesday 9 February 2016.

        National parks entries fees are included for: Chyulu Hills National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve.
        2 x return economy flights with Safarilink to Ol Donyo Lodge from Nairobi Wilson Airport.
        2 x return economy flights with Safarilink to the Masai Mara from Nairobi Wilson Airport.

Flights via Qatar Airways
    41.2 x return economy flights with Qatar Airways to Nairobi Kenya, departing Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, or Adelaide International Airport, valued at $4,000 AUD.
    42.If the prize winners are located outside of Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, or Adelaide, all travel to and from these locations will be at the winner's own expense.
    43.Winner will need to contact a KTB representative with dates to book the flights. The winners desired travel dates must be communicated to a KTB representative within 21 days of winning the prize, and KTB representative will organise the booking.
    44.Flights are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, non-upgradeable, and non-changeable. Further fare rules may apply.
    45.The prize winner and their guests must travel together and share the same itinerary.
    46.Seats are subject to availability. We suggest you make your reservation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
    47.Travel is on confirmed space but is still subject to seat availability and pricing at the time of booking.
    48.Entire travel must be completed by 30th November 2016
    49.The prize winner agrees to absolve the Qatar Airways from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the competition or from the acceptance or use of the prize.
