Win a trip to NASTAR in Philadelphia! - WHO CAN ENTER?
An Entrant is eligible to win a Prize if they:
a) are a Foxtel, Optus TV featuring Foxtel, Foxtel from Telstra subscriber, or live in a household with a Foxtel, Optus TV featuring Foxtel, or Foxtel from Telstra subscriber and have the subscriber’s permission to enter the Promotion, and the subscription account is not in arrears and is active from the Commencement Date until the Unclaimed Prize Determination Date; and b) are over the age of 18, or, if under the age of 18, have their parent’s or guardian’s permission before entering the Promotion; and are not:
c) employees of:
i. the Promoter, Optus, or Telstra;
ii. the Supplier or the Relevant Parties;
iii. any corporations or agencies related to the entities in paragraphs (i) and (ii) above; or
iv. any of the Relevant Parties; or
d) a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by marriage or adoption) of a person who is an employee of any of the entities listed in paragraph (c) above.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the Promotion, an Entrant must, during the Promotion Period:
a) go to www.syfy.com.au and
b) answer the following question in 25 words or less:
"Why you want to travel in to space?” (the “Entry Question”).
PRIZES:
The Major Prizes consists of:
A trip for two people (Prize winner + 1 guest) to Philadelphia where they will have a Space Flight Simulator experience at NASTAR. The trip includes flights from the winner’s nearest international airport, return airport to hotel transfers and accommodation (one room) for 5 nights.
Flights for 2 people, economy, to Philadelphia: $6400
Accommodation for 5 nights, including breakfast: $1000
NASTAR Experience for 2 people, including lunch and flight suit hire: $2400 Return airport transfers: $342
Travel Insurance: $120
- Dates of travel are Wednesday 13th – Monday 18th May 2015.
- There is no cash alternative. Prize is non refundable and non transferable.
- Both the winner and his/her guest must be 18 years or over. Minimum age for the NASTAR®
experience is 18 years.
- For the NASTAR® experience, maximum height is 6’7”/196cm and maximum weight is
310lbs/22 stone/140kg.
- Participants must be in good general health.
- Participants are required to sign a NASTAR® waiver.
- Hotel is based on two people sharing one room.
- The hotel will take a credit card pre-authorisation or cash deposit to cover incidentals.
- Winner and his/her guest are solely responsible for all other meals and expenses not specifically set forth herein.
- Winner and his/her guest must have valid passports and applicable visas/permissions.
- Winner and his/her guest are responsible for registering with the US Visa Waiver
programme: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov if applicable.
- Any potential winner and his/her proposed guest will be required to sign a prize acceptance
and release form in order to be eligible to win and/or participate in the prize.
