WHO CAN ENTER?

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 16 years or over who:
a) have a valid personal Visa Debit card or Visa Credit card with Visa payWave functionality (contactless payment), issued by a Participating Financial Institution (“Visa Card”). To view a full list of Participating Financial Institutions visit www.visario.com.au Commercial/Business Visa Cards are not eligible; and
b) who are able to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (South America) in August 2016, on the dates specified in clause 14 below.
Individuals who obtain a Visa Card from a Participating Financial Institution during the Promotional Period will still be eligible to enter.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The promotion commences at 12.01am AEDST on 1 March 2016 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 26 April 2016 (“Promotional Period”).
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter into the promotion, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
make a minimum of five (5) eligible contactless purchases/transactions, each under $100, using their Visa Card (each a “Qualifying Transaction”). A Qualifying Transaction refers to any purchase/transaction made with a Visa Card (of any value under $100) using contactless technology, but excludes making/completing a purchase/transaction online or over the phone, and excludes balance inquires, transfers, deposits, takings and change of PIN. Any purchases/transactions over $100 will not be eligible for a valid entry; and then
complete the online entry form by visiting www.visario.com.au, providing all of the requested details (including their member number, full name, a valid email address and contact telephone number) and submitting the completed form so that it is received during the Promotional Period.
Multiple entries are not allowed. Only one (1) entry permitted per person.
PRIZE:
The first (1st) valid entry drawn will win one (1) trip to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil for the winner and one (1) travel companion, aged sixteen (16) years or older, for four (4) nights (with accommodation check-in on 11 August 2016 and check-out on 15 August 2016) valued at up to AU$29,600 depending on booking and flight availability (“Prize”). If the winner is aged under 18 years, then that winner must be accompanied for the duration of the Prize by a parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner entering the promotion. The Prize comprises of the following elements:
Two (2) x return economy airfares from Sydney to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. If the winner resides outside of Sydney, NSW the Prize will also include two (2) x return domestic economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city to Sydney. If the winner resides in NSW, domestic airfares will not be provided and this element of the prize is not redeemable for cash and will be forfeited;
AU$5,000 spending money (awarded to the winner in the form of an EFT transfer in accordance with clause 20, below);
Selected scheduled ground transportation in Brazil;
Four (4) nights’ deluxe accommodation based on double occupancy (with exact hotel and star rating of hotel to be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion);
Daily breakfast (with exact breakfast menu to be determined by the Promoter);
Access to Visa event team support staff: Portuguese, English and Spanish language support;
Preselected 2016 Olympic event tickets (with exact tickets to be determined by the Promoter but will include a minimum of four (4) sports events);
Tour of the iconic Rio de Janeiro landmarks for two (2) (exact tour and inclusions to be determined by the Promoter);
Selected Visa 2016 Olympic themed merchandise (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion); and
US$400 Visa prepaid card awarded to the winner. Visa prepaid card will be issued in USD with the value in AU dollars being $570.00 as at 11/01/2016 at a conversion rate of 0.70 USD. Value in AUD may vary when the prize is awarded to the winner, dependant on exchange rate applicable at the time that the Visa prepaid card is issued/awarded.
