Entry is only open to individuals who are aged 18 years or over and are residents of Australia, United States of America (50 states and the District of Columbia, excluding without limitation Puerto Rico and other U.S. Territories and Possessions), Canada (with the exception of Quebec), New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland), South Africa, India, Malaysia, Philippines or Indonesia. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and/or its affiliated or sister companies, and agencies associated with this contest are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. Any entries by these individuals will be invalid. Entrants are required to like the Facebook page before making a submission. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING A PRIZE.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The contest starts at 1:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on 2 June, 2014 and closes at 5:00pm AEST on 4 July, 2014. Any entries received after this date and time will not qualify for the contest. The date and time will be set to Sydney, Australia local time.
HOW TO ENTER:
To be eligible to enter, eligible individuals must take an original photograph of a trip they have taken that shows their favourite insider experience. To enter, eligible individuals must then:
a) visit the Trafalgar Travel Facebook Page (“Facebook Page”);
b) like the Facebook Page;
c) follow the prompts to the Trafalgar Insider Competition tab;
d) input the requested details as prompted, including their first name, last name, phone number, country of residence, valid email address and a correct answer to the promotional question; and
e) upload their original photograph. Uploaded files must be submitted in JPEG or GIF format, and must not exceed 10MB file size.
PRIZES:
The first valid entry drawn in the random draw will win a “Northern California” Trafalgar guided holiday/vacation through the USA for eight (8) days, for two (2) adults, valued at up to AU$9,900, depending on date and point of departure. Prize includes: two (2) return economy airfares to San Francisco, California (with a Trafalgar designated airline) from the winner’s nearest capital city, international airport or nearest gateway city in the USA (as determined by the Promoter); return transfers between airport and Trafalgar accommodations on the first and last day of the holiday/vacation; seven (7) nights twin share accommodation at hotels selected by the Promoter (minimum two (2) star rated accommodation); luxury coach transportation to selected venues; selected meals throughout the duration of the prize (including breakfast daily and a welcome reception and farewell dinner); access to the Trafalgar Travel Director during the holiday/vacation; access to local guides; and all associated taxes, flight and airline charges. Additional travel expenses, including but not limited to, visas, spending money, additional meals, optional excursions, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers (if applicable), items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Winner and their guest must take all elements of the prize at the same time. Prize supplied by Trafalgar. Blackout periods apply for the months of May and September 2014 and 2015. Prize must be taken by 31 October, 2015 and is subject to booking availability. Odds of winning the prize are dependent on the number of eligible entries received during the contest.
Total prize pool value is up to AU$9,900.
