The promoter of this promotion is J. Blackwood & Son Pty Ltd (ABN 43 000 010 300) of Level 4, 26 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113 ("Promoter")
This promotion is known as the ‘Win a Holiday’ promotion ("Promotion").
Information about prizes and how to enter this Promotion form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Officers, management and employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter, companies associated with the Promoter and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter. For the purposes of this Promotion, "immediate family members" include spouse, de facto spouse, parent, and natural, adopted or step child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
The Promotion commences at 12:00am Australian Eastern Time (AEST) on 1 July 2017 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2017 ("Promotion Period").
To be eligible to enter the Promotion, an entrant must, during the Promotion Period:
a) purchase product/s with a total value of no less than AU$250 (including GST) in a single transaction purchased by any of the following methods:
i. in an offical store of the promoter
ii. online at blackwoods.com.au or www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au
iii. via phone 13 73 23
("Eligible Purchase")
b) fully and acurately complete an entry form located and www.blackwoods.com.au/winaholiday or www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/winaholiday; and
c) subscribe to the Promoter's mailing list located at www.blackwoods.com.au/winaholiday or www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/winaholiday
("together the Promotion Entry Steps")
An entrant will be awarded one (1) entry into the Promotion once the entrant has completed the Promotion Entry Steps. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant to enter the competition before any prize is awarded and the entrant must retain product receipt(s) or invoice(s) as proof of entry.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries. The Promoter has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries will be deemed received by the Promoter at the time of receipt in the Promoter's database, not at the time of transmission.
The form of any identification, authorisation or release required by the Promoter are at the discretion of the Promoter. Failure to provide such proof, authorisation or release will immediately invalidate a prize winner's entitlement to a prize, subject to applicable State legislation.
Multiple competition entries are permitted for each Eligible Purchase, subject to completing the Promotion Steps for each Eligible Purchase
If an entrant returns products purchased during the Promotion Period for any reason, the value of the returned products will not be counted towards the AU$250 entry threshold required for an Eligible Purchase and if the result is a total value below AU$250 the entrant may at the Promoter’s sole discretion be refused entry
There are two (2) prizes available in this Promotion (one (1) first price and one (2) second price). Prizes for the Promotion will be awarded based on a random draw from all valid registered entries. The first prize will be drawn first; then from the remaining pool, the second prize will be drawn.
Each entrant is eligible for one (1) prize only, irrespective of the number of valid entries submitted.
The first prize in the Promotion is an AU$4,000 gift card voucher for use at Flight Centre (valued at AU$4,000 (inc GST). The first prize is subject to the following terms and conditions:
a) The entrant must collect the prize before the expiry date set out on the gift card (31 July 2018), otherwise the prize may be forfeited. The Promoter does not take responsibility for the gift card voucher expiring before the winner collects or uses it

c) Flight Centre is a third party to this Promotion and does not endorse or promote this Promotion in any way
The second prize in the Promotion is an Aboriginal steel art sculpture titled the Green Ant Nest (valued at AU$750 (inc GST)

In consideration for awarding each prize to each winner, acceptance by the entrant of the prize constitutes agreement by the prize winner to allow the use of the prize winner's name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Promoter for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law
The winners will be selected on 8 August 2017 at 12.00pm AEST and the winners of all prizes will be announced on www.blackwoods.com.au/winaholiday and www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/winaholiday on 10 August 2017. The winners will also be directly notified in writing via the information provided on the entry form by 9 August 2017
All decisions and actions of the Promoter and its employees are exercisable at their absolute discretion. To claim his or her prize each winner must confirm receipt of notification within 90 days of being notified of winning by the Promoter. If a winner does not respond in that time period, his or her prize may be forfeited
If a prize or any part of it is unclaimed or unable to be accepted by 12.00pm AEST on 7 November 2017, a second draw will be held on 7 November 2017 at 12.01pm AEST. Each winner will be selected from all entries made during the Promotion Period. Each winner will be directly notified using the contact details supplied on the entry form by 8 November 2017 and will be announced on www.blackwoods.com.au/winaholiday and www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/winaholiday by 9 November 2017
The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence from entrants will be read, entered into or replied to
The Promoter is aware that some of its customers may have policies which forbid the acceptance of awards, prizes or incentives by their employees in connection with their business or which require the business to determine the terms on which such awards, prizes or incentives may be offered in connection with their business. The Promoter may require a prize winner to provide signed authorisation from an authorised officer of its employer confirming permission for the winner to accept the prize
The Promoter has the right to withhold the provision of any prize where the Promoter is aware or reasonably suspects that the provision of the prize would, or may be, in breach of any conduct or compliance policy of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, or any third party (including the Promoter’s customers)
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, charges, damages or fines incurred by any winner in connection with any prize (including, but not limited to, any losses or costs associated with any prize winner travelling to and from the airport or any other location)
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prize. No prize may be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or kind and must be taken as awarded as set out in these terms and conditions. In the event any prize set out in these terms and conditions is not available, despite the Promoter's reasonable endeavours to obtain them within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value, subject to the written directions of any relevant authority and in consultation with the relevant prize winner
The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to determine the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with or fails to follow the Promotion Entry Steps or the fails to comply with the Promotion terms and conditions or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner's entry is of a type described in this section
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any of the goods and services offered or taken as a prize. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered as a result of any personal injury or property damage or loss suffered or sustained as a result of entering the Promotion or taking or using any of the prizes, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting a prize that each winner may be required by the Promoter to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter
There may be taxation consequences arising from this Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implication that may arise from winning a prize. The Promoter advises entrants to obtain independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion as necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control or if required by a relevant regulatory authority
The Promoter collects information about each entrant to conduct the Promotion and, where appropriate, to award prizes, and may also use the information to assist in improving its goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers. The Promoter may share an entrant’s information with its Australian related companies. By entering this Promotion, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may disclose the entrant's personal information if required by law and may publish, or cause to be published, each of the winner's names and suburb of residence in the media.
