General Conditions For the purpose of these terms and conditions, ACE Radio Broadcasters Pty Ltd will be referred
to as “The Promoter”.
The “Prize Provider” for this competition is Viking Cruises.
Entry is open to Victorian, New South Wales and Queensland Residents 18 years and above.
Employees and immediate relatives of ACE Radio Broadcasters Pty. Ltd. and Viking Cruises
are not eligible to enter.

Entry Method To participate in the "Become a Viking" contest, listeners are encouraged to visit
www.becomeaviking.com.au and fill out the online entry form. Entries will be accepted 24 hours
a day throughout the duration of the competition, and there is no cost to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that include content that is deemed
unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory, or damaging to the Promoter's reputation. Any
person found to have used multiple names to enter the promotion will be disqualified from
participating and/or redeeming a prize.
Conditions The winner must show photo identification in the form of the following in order to receive the
prize.
? Australian Drivers License
? Victorian proof of age card or an equivalent from another state or territory of Australia.
? Australian or foreign passport.
Prize winner and travelling companion must both be 18 years of age or older at time of travel.
If for any reason the Winner is unable to accept the Prize as stated, the winner will forfeit that
Prize and no compensation will be given in lieu.
Travel or entry documentation (Visas) and arrival fees are the responsibility of the Winner and
their travel companion. It is the Winner’s responsibility to check with all government travel
advisory and immigration authorities regarding travel requirements and eligibility. Any fines,
penalties, payments and expenditure incurred as a result of not meeting such requirements will
be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion.
Any mandatory conditions related to taking the prize, including COVID-19 vaccinations for any
travel outside of Australia, are the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion. If the
Winner or their travel companion have not complied at the time of travel, boarding may be
denied and the prize duly forfeited. This includes any third party vaccination requirements from
any travel operator required to take the prize. If travel and quarantine restrictions imposed by
the Australian or International Governments impact the Winner’s ability to take the prize as
stated, Viking will make every effort to defer the departure date to a date of their choosing.
If any portion of the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, Viking reserves the right to
substitute the Prize, or that element of the Prize, for a Prize of similar theme and of equal value.
All elements of the Prize must be taken together. Travel restrictions may apply. The winner and
their travel companion must travel together. Any meals or tips which are not included in the
Cruise, transfer fees, Passports, Visas, telephone charges, laundry, additional nights or
upgrades any other personal expenses, travel insurances are the responsibility of the winner
and their travel companion. If for any reason the winner is unable to accept the Prize as stated,
and within the date indicated, the winner will forfeit that Prize and no compensation will be given
in lieu.
Details of prize winner and their travelling companion as per passport must be provided to
Viking within 5 business days of accepting the prize. No changes will be permitted once
ticketed. If not received within 5 business days, prize may be forfeited.
Viking to cover cost of return economy airfares up to the value of $2,500pp. Included Flights will
be booked by Viking and with Viking’s choice of airline from major gateway cities in Australia,
and only into and out of the embarkation and disembarkation city of the cruise. Should the
applicable airfare be higher than the value of the Included Flights, the competition winner is
required to pay the difference. Airline schedules are subject to change without notice and Viking
is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to airline schedule changes. Any unused
portion of the Included Flights or Flight Credit is forfeited and cannot be transferred towards any
other portion of the booking or any other person. No variations or extensions will be permitted.
Transfers to departure city will be at prize winners expense. Any changes made after ticketing
may incur amendment and/or cancellation fees, in some cases, tickets are non-refundable. Air
taxes vary for each departure point and routing of airline and are subject to change. Fuel
surcharges are subject to change and an additional fuel surcharge may apply. Frequent flyer
miles/points may not be awarded on all airfares.
The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter and their affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is
suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury
suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law.
All entrants give ACE Radio Broadcasters permission to also advertise that they have won the
major prize or voucher and the details of the prizes that they have won – including costs.
Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the
winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a
concern.
Grand Draw: The Grand Draw will be conducted on Friday, February 10, 2023, at ACE Radio Broadcasters -
Apt 8C, 18 Albert Road, South Melbourne VIC 3205 between 8.00 am & 8.30 am.
All entries will be collated into a master database with the winner being selected by a random
number generator and that person will be deemed the winner of “Become a Viking”
Prize Details The Grand Prize is a Viking “Rhine Getaway” cruise for two people, leaving Basel on 5
November 2023 and travelling to Amsterdam for 8 days and 7 nights, plus return economy
airfares for 2 people ex major Australian capital cities.
Inclusions are;
• Return economy airfares arriving into Basel and departing Amsterdam
• 8-day cruise in Standard (F) stateroom with a king-size bed for two people.
• 6 guided tours.
• All onboard meals, including wine, beer & soft drinks, with lunch and dinner.
• Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
• Culture Curriculum.
• All port charges.
• Unlimited Wi-Fi.
• All onboard tipping and gratuities.
• All port charges & government taxes.
The maximum retail value of the Prize is AU$13,990.

Flight value AU$5,000. (AU$2,500pp x 2)

- on-air at the time of winning,

Publication Details The winner will be published on the Station Website for a minimum of 28 days from Friday,
February 10, 2023.
