What are the prize details for this competition?
Win a VIP trip to Sydney to attend the world premiere of 'The Water Diviner'! - WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to all Australian residents, who are Telstra customers, over the age of 18. Employees or contractors of the promoter and other companies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The promotion starts 10.00 am AEDT on 4 November 2014. Entries close and must be received by 5.00 pm AEDT on 24 November 2014 (“promotion period”).
HOW TO ENTER:
Russell Crowe's epic “The Water Diviner” was inspired by one line found in a WWI diary: “One old chap managed to get here from Australia, looking for his son's grave.” To enter this promotion, you must, during the promotion period:
answer the question “What is your life-defining moment?” in one line; and
submit your answer by either:
visiting the Telstra Thanks Movies website located at www.telstra.com/movies, completing the entry form on “The Water Diviner” page and including the city you could attend the movie screening if you win the minor prize; or
texting to 811 your answer, your postcode and the city you could attend the movie screening if you win the minor prize,
(“eligible entry”).
PRIZES:
There are 2 major prizes and 50 minor prizes to be won.
The major prize is a movie experience package to attend the world movie premiere of “The Water Diviner” in Sydney and includes:
return economy airfares for two adults to Sydney from the winner's nearest capital city, valued up to $2000 (inc GST) (unless the winner's nearest capital city is Sydney, in which case this component of the prize will be forfeited);
two night's accommodation for two based on twin sharing in a QT King Suite at the QT hotel Sydney, valued at $670 (inc GST);
transfers to and from Sydney airport, valued at up to $100 (inc GST);
dinner for two at the Gowings Bar and Grill at QT Sydney, valued at up to $300 (inc GST);
a spa treatment for two at SpaQ, valued at $730 (inc GST);
tickets to the world movie premiere and after party of “The Water Diviner” on 2 December 2014, valued at $50;
opportunity to meet some of the cast members from the film; and
Westfield gift voucher for the winner, valued at $1000 (inc GST) and a personal shopper valued at $400 (inc GST),
The minor prize is a double pass to attend the movie screening of “The Water Diviner” in the following cities (10 double passes per city):
Sydney - Preview Screening Location and Time TBC, valued at $50 per double pass;
Melbourne - Melbourne Premiere Event at Rivoli Cinema, 200 Camberwell Rd, Hawthorn East VIC 3124 on 4 December 2014, valued at $50 per double pass;
Brisbane - Preview Screening at Event Cinemas City Myer Centre, Level 3 Myer Centre, Elizabeth St, Brisbane QLD 4068 on 10 December 2014 valued at $50 per double pass;
Adelaide - Preview Screening, Palace Nova Eastend, 250 Rundle St, Adelaide SA 5000 on 3 December 2014, valued at $50 per double pass; and
Perth - Preview Screening, Readings Belmont, Cnr Knutsford Ave and Fulham St, Belmont WA 6104 on 10 December 2014, valued at $50 per double pass.
The total prize pool is valued at up to $13,000 (incl. GST).
