Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is NBCUniversal International Networks Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 76 103 226 026) of Level 32, 580 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, telephone (02) 8274 1607 (“Promoter”).
Entry is only open to Australian residents (excluding TAS, NT and ACT residents) aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entries into the promotion open at 9:00am AEST on 18/04/2018 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 02/05/2018 (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, eligible individuals must, during the Promotional Period, complete the following steps:

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The draw will take place on 07/05/2018 at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 5, Erina Plaza 210 Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250 at 11:00am AEDST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner’s name will be published online at www.universalchannel.com from 09/05/2018.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The first valid entry drawn will win a spa getaway, in the winner’s capital city, for four (4) adults (aged 18 years or over) valued at up to $5,000 depending on redemption date and location. Prize includes:
One (1) night minimum 4star accommodation for four (4) adults in the winner’s capital city. The exact accommodation will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, however the Promoter will endeavour to locate a two (2) bedroom serviced apartment or two (2) twin share rooms;
Four (4) Peter Alexander pyjama packs (sizes are subject to availability and style is selected by the Promoter);
A spa package for four (4) adults up to the value of $1,000. Exact spa location and services to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion; and
Four (4) Pitch Perfect 3 DVDs valued at $39.95 each.
In the event the winner resides more than a 2 hour drive from the selected prize location (as determined by the Promoter), the Promoter may provide the winner with flights from the winner’s nearest airport to the capital city of the prize location, up to the value of $1600 as well as return airport to accommodation transfers up to the value of $300. Flights are only provided where the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems it appropriate for such flights to be provided. If the winner is within a distance in which the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems it is not appropriate for flights to be provided then the prize will not include airfares or airport to hotel transfers and instead the Promoter may (in its absolute discretion) award the winner with a travel credit to be used towards travel costs up to the value of $1500, depending on location. If airfares or the travel credit are not awarded as part of the prize, the airfare/travel credit component of the prize will not be redeemable for cash. The winner will be responsible for any additional expenses (excluding airline and airport taxes) associated with taking the airfare/transfers component of the prize. Winner and guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e. valid photo identification, visas, passports, etc.) prior to travel. Once issued, tickets are non-transferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open tickets may not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. Travel arrangements must be made through the Promoter.
Prize conditions: The prize must be taken by 10/10/2019 and is subject to booking and availability. Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods. Winner must provide a minimum of 30 days notice prior to intended departure date. The winner and his/her companion/s must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. The prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, spending money, meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs) are included in the prize and all such expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in. All aspects of the prize must be taken together as a package.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take or redeem the prize (or an element of the prize) at/by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to $5,000.
A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 07/08/2018 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner’s name will be published online at www.universalchannel.com.au from 10/08/2018.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
