Win an Adventure Holiday in Vanuatu & Olympus Camera Gear

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 years within the specified time period.
2.2. Employees, franchisees or contractors and their immediate families of We Are Explorers, Vanuatu Tourism Office and Oympus (“the Promoters”), or any related agencies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on the 08/06/2021 at 08:00AM AEST and closes 23/07/2021 at 11:59PM AEST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, the entrants must complete the entry form by providing the entrant’s full name, email address, copy of their 25 word or less answer to the questions “What’s the first adventure you’ll go on in Vanuatu?”.
3.3 In order to enter, the entrants must agree that their entry may be used by the Promoters for promotional purposes.
3.4 In order to enter, the entrants must agree to receive email marketing communications from the Promoters which may be unsubscribed at any point.
3.4 Entrants may only enter once.
PRIZES
4.1 One winner will be chosen based on their ability to answer the questions “What’s the first adventure you’ll go on in Vanuatu?” as decided by the Promoters at their absolute discretion;

Prize Value up to: $5500 AUD
Including:
Flights from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne for two people to Vanuatu via Air Vanuatu
Accommodation for two people whilst in Vanuatu
A select number of tourism experiences for two people whilst in Vanuatu
***Redemption of prize and prize contents is subject to change and COVID-19 situation/border restrictions at the time of redemption. All advice outlined by Australia and Vanuatu’s Government will be followed when organising the winner’s trip plus any recommendations of each country’s Chief Health Officers.

Prize value up to: $7006 AUD
Including:

Total prize value up to: $12 506 AUD
4.2 Prize cannot be exchanged or refunded in any way by the winner.
4.3 Prize is valid for redemption until 31 December 2022 and trip dates will be determined by the Promoters. The Promoters will be reasonable if there has been no overseas travel due to COVID-19 until 31 December 2022 and will honour the trip at a later date.
4.4 If the winner is unable to depart from Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney, the winner will and their guest must make their own way and cover the costs to Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
Any prizes that remain unclaimed for 1 month after the end of the promotion period will be awarded to another entrant as determined by the Promoters. The pool will be made up of runner up entrants as determined by the Promoters.
If required, this will occur on 28/08/2021.
SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS
5.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with Clause 3 will be entered into the prize pool.
5.2 The winner will be selected by the Promoters on the 28/07/2021 at 11:00AM AEST at We Are Explorers’s Premises at 6-8 Burringbar St, Mullumbimby NSW 2481.
5.3 The winner of the competition, as determined by the Promoters, agrees to a screening interview with We Are Explorers if deemed necessary by the Promoters.
5.4 The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on We Are Explorers social media platforms from 28/07/2021 for 28 days. The winner may also be published on www.weareexplorers.co, Olympus and Vanuatu Tourism Office’s digital platforms.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final.
NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.
6.2 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
6.3.1 during the draw;
6.3.2 Whilst undertaking any travel won connected with their entry into the draw; or
6.3.3 in the participation in any prize
6.3.4 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
6.3.5 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
6.3.6 due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
6.4 The Promoters and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter’s which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter’s reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other dishonest act, may take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State legislation.
