By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Entry is open to all residents of Australia, 18 years and over. Employees of Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) and its associated agencies and immediate families are ineligible to enter.
Entry is restricted to people who sign up to receive the NSW Parks Blog Enews. People who have already signed up to receive the NSW Parks Blog Enews can also enter the draw using the same email originally used to subscribe to the newsletter.
The promotion commences at 12:00 AEST Tuesday 1 May 2018 and closes at 18:00 AEST Wednesday 23 May 2018.
One winner will be selected for the prize. This is a game of chance. The winner will be selected by a computerised system that is random in its selection of winners.
You acknowledge that participants can enter the draw once only and only one entry per email address will go into the draw.
The draw will take place on 12:00 AEST Thursday 24 May 2018 at NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (Office of Environment and Heritage), 59-61 Goulburn St, Sydney 2000.
The winner will be notified by email on Thursday 24 May 2018 and will be published on the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Facebook page on Friday 25 May 2018.
The Promoter (NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service) reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the draw which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
Entries must be received by 18:00 AEST Wednesday 23 May 2018. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

Accommodation at Creel Lodge in Kosciuszko National Park

Mountain Bike Adventure
Up to 8 participants.
Minimum fitness is required for this activity. Age limit restrictions may also apply.
The activity will take place at the Thredbo Valley Track (TVT), subject to track closure due to early snow, etc. If the TVT is not available, an alternative track will be chosen.
Participants must travel to the start of the TVT, or the alternative location to meet their guide. Transport to the mountain bike adventure is not included in the prize.
The prize does not include travel or transport to and from the experience or any of the activities included in the package.
THE TOTAL PRIZE VALUE IS: $4000
THE PRIZE MUST BE REDEEMED BETWEEN 8 JUNE 2018 – 12 JUNE 2018. The package cannot be used outside of these dates under any circumstances and cannot be transferred. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for another itinerary.
Caving trip, mountain biking and walking tour times and dates will be preorganised and communicated with winner prior to dates of stay. Dates and times cannot be changed. If the winner chooses not to participate in a prize element, prize element will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Proof of identity and age of the winner may be required before a prize will be handed over.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
In the event that the prize winner will be unable to redeem the prize, declines to redeem the prize, or the prize remains unclaimed by COB 28 May the winner forfeits the prize and the Promoter will conduct a second draw to award the prize. The second draw will take place on 29 May 2018 and the winner will be contacted via email that day.
The Promoter will send the prize pack including Annual Passes and accommodation/itinerary details via registered post. The prize pack will be delivered within a week of the winner being announced.
If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation. New dates for the competition will be decided by the Promoter. If the prize has been awarded but an outside act impacts on the dates of the stay (8 – 12 June 2018) a new date for the prize will be decided between the Promoter and the winner.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. Personal information will be shared with the Promoter for the purposes of taking part in the draw, contacting the prize winner and distributing the NSW Parks Blog Enews.
