Official Terms and Conditions of Entry for Wonderful Pistachios Australia Facebook Promotion: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO WIN 1. Entry is open to residents of Australia only. 2. The promotion commences 17 December 2012 and closes on 14 January 2013, 11.59 PM AEDST 3. Promotion details and instructions on how to enter are as follows: a. To enter, entrants need to become a fan and ‘LIKE’ the Wonderful Pistachios Australia Facebook page on www.facebook.com/WonderfulPistachiosAUS during the Promotional Period of the competition (17 December to 14 January). If individuals already ‘Like’ the Wonderful Pistachios Australia Facebook page, they are still eligible to enter. b. Entrants need to click on the ‘Competition WIN Tab’ and follow the instructions to register their entry information. Please be advised that only the person submitting the information will be entered. c. Entrants must complete the entry form with their full name, postal address, email address, phone number, and submit their creative photo contest image as per the following theme: d. All entrants must submit a creative photo to showcase: i. ‘Show us where your nuts party!’ e. Each entry must: i. Contain the full name, email address and postal address of the entrant; ii. Submit an image representing the theme above; iii. Be the original work of the entrant which may not have been previously published or won previous awards iv. Not be offensive, defamatory, unlawful or likely to cause offense to other persons; sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory, or pornographic , or contain nudity v. Not promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons, activities that may be unsafe vi. Free of any claims, including copyright claims, by other parties vii. Not contain look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead; viii. The Promoter may exclude any entry that does not meet these criteria ix. Not violate any law. f. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. If a minor appears in the photo, you must be the parent or legal guardian of such minor. g. Wonderful Pistachios reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners and the right to reject any photos which we deem offensive, violative of law or unsuitable in any other manner. Wonderful Pistachios is not required to provide any explanation for the rejection. h. Winners will be selected on the basis of creative merit. i. Winners will be notified via the email address they nominated in their entry j. One (1) winner will receive one (1) Apple iPad Mini with WiFi 16GB valued at $369. One (1) runner-up will receive a variety (3 x 250g packs, 1 of each flavour ie. 1 x Sweet Chili, 1 x Salt & Pepper and 1 x Roasted & Salted) Wonderful Pistachios valued at $22.50. The total prize pool is $391.50. k. The 1 winner and 1 runner-up will be selected on 14 January 2014 at 12.00pm AEST. The winner selection will take place at Tesch Communications of 1/18-22 Thomson Street South Melbourne VIC 3205. 4. The Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part is determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on its creative merit. The best entries as determined by the judges will win a prize. The judges’ decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 5. Entrants are only eligible to win one prize each for the duration of the promotion 6. By submitting your images, you grant Wonderful Pistachios and its affiliates the right to use, publish or disseminate any of your images in print and/or on our website, online publications, email newsletters or in any other manner we desire. You also waive any claims of ownership or copyright protection with the photos you submit. 7. The winners agree to allow Wonderful Pistachios Australia to display their first name and surname initial on our Facebook page to inform others of the winner. 8. The Promoter will not be responsible for lost prizes caused by incorrect addresses provided by the prize winner. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit by Australia Post. 9. The promoter may select additional reserve entries that they determine to be the next best in the event of an unclaimed prize or an invalid entry, or ineligible entrant being selected as a winner. 10. All personal information collected is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Any information collected will only be used for the purpose of this competition and will not be added to a mailing list, or provided to anyone else without your consent. 11. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Apple Inc. ("Apple").
