E-bike Giveaway Terms & Conditions
ELIGIBILITY:
This competition is open to all residents of Australia, who have signed up to the promotion via trekbikes.com/au/en_AU
by the end of the campaign period of September 5th –December 11th, 2018. Employees of Trek or its affiliates,
subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as
parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
TO ENTER:
Visit http://www.trekbikes.com/au/en_AU/ and fill in the entry form/sign up screen to sign up to the Trek Australia
newsletter. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Trek reserve the right to
disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. Only one entry per person is eligible for the prize.
TIMING:
This competition runs from 07.00am AEST on September 5 2018. The closing date of this competition is 07.00am AEST on
December 11th 2018. Entrant details must be saved in the database system no later than the closing date.
USE OF DAT
Personal data which you provide when you enter this competition could be used for future Trek marketing activity.
SELECTION OF WINNERS:
The winner (1) will be drawn randomly from all entrants and overseen by a panel of three judges on December 12 2018 at
12:00pm AEST at Trek Bicycle Corporation. The panel of judges will include at least one independent member. The winner
will be notified by email by 5:00pm on December 12 2018.
REDRAW:
If the prize is not claimed by the initial winner by January 12 2018 at 5:00pm, the prize will be redrawn. The winner (1)
will be drawn randomly from all entrants and overseen by a panel of three judges on January 14 2018 at 12:00pm at Trek
Bicycle Corporation. The panel of judges will include at least one independent member. The winner will be notified by
email by 5:00pm on January 14 2018.
PRIZE:
The prize is a Trek electric bike, up to the value of $4,999. The winner may select a Trek electric bike from an authorised
retailer only. Should the value of the bike selected be less than $4,999, the remainder of the prize value can be applied to
any Trek or Bontrager products. Should the value of the bike selected be greater than $4,999, the winner will be required
to pay the difference. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Prize cannot be combined with any other
offer.
WINNERS LIST:
The winner consents to their name being made publicly available. The winners’ names will be available for a period of 2
months after the closing date by email request.
OTHER:
No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely
event of a dispute, Trek’s decision shall be final.
