The Promoter, its agents, affiliates and representatives accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. Entries will be deemed void if manipulated or tampered with in any way. Incomplete or illegible entries will also be deemed invalid.
Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, employees and representatives will not be responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence) for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expense, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of, or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or the provision of the prizes.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, and place of residence).
By entering the Promotion, the Entrant consents to being contacted by the Promoter by phone, email and/or or text message regarding the Promotion and to receiving other communications which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other products, services and events.
Conditions of Entry
Instructions on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry. Entry shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To enter, entrants must complete all the information on the entry form and all entries must be received within the Promotional Period (see below). Entry is only open to Queensland residents aged over 18 years.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, directors, management, related companies, and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
Multiple entries will not be accepted.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Promotional Period and Prize Draw
The promotion commences at 7am on Tuesday, 10 December 2019, and closes at 9.30am on Friday, 31 January 2020.
Winners will be randomly drawn by the Promoter’s representative at 9am on Monday, 3 February 2020 at Level 1, 270 Adelaide St, Brisbane.
Prize
There will be five prizes and five winners.
The major prize consists of:
2 x Diamond tickets to the Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road show at North Queensland Stadium, Townsville on Saturday, 29 February 2020.
2 nights accommodation at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville.
2 breakfasts for 2 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville
The major prize is worth approximately $940.
There will be 4 runners up prizes consisting of:
2 x Emerald tickets to the Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road show at North Queensland Stadium, Townsville on Saturday, 29 February 2020.
Each runner up prize is worth approximately $398.
Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and are not redeemable for cash. If a prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter will endeavour, but is not obliged, to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.
Promotion Winners
The prize winners will be notified via phone within one working day of the draw.
In the event that the prize winners cannot be contacted within three working days of the draw, a replacement winner will be chosen by a representative of the Promoter and the original winner will forfeit any and all right to the prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply fully with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
The name and photograph of the winner may be published and may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winner agrees to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
