Entry into the promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older who, in the event that their entry is drawn as the Major Prize winning entry, are able to travel to and remain in California, USA for six (6) nights during the period 01/04/2016 – 30/11/2016 (inclusive) in order to participate in the prize as set out in Condition 13 (Entrants). The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
Promotion starts at 12.01am (AEDT) on 01/01/2016 and ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 15/02/2016 (Promotional Period).
Eligible Purchase must be between 12:01am (AEDT) on 01/01/2016 and 11:59pm (AEDT) on 31/01/2016 (Purchase Period). Online entries will close at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 15/02/2016.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
Purchase in one transaction any two (2) Lexar products from any Big W store in Australia during the Purchase Period (Eligible Purchase);
complete an entry form by logging on to www.lexarback2school.com.au (Promotional Website), select the promotion button on the Promotional Website and fully complete and successfully submit the online entry form in the manner required, including providing the Entrant’s full name, current and valid email address, mobile telephone number, residential address and the last six (6) digits on each of the two barcodes located on the packaging of each Lexar product; and
retain the purchase receipt for each Eligible Purchase (Purchase Receipt) and the Lexar products’ packaging.
Multiple entries accepted however each entry must be based on a separate Eligible Purchase, submitted separately and must independently comply with these Conditions of Entry. Entrants who successfully enter the promotion during the Promotional Period and in the manner set out in these Conditions of Entry will receive one (1) entry into the draw for each Eligible Purchase.
Selection of Lexar products is subject to availability at each Big W store and based on reasonably anticipated demand. Lexar products may not be available for sale in all Big W stores at all times during the Promotional Period. The Promoter and Woolworths Limited trading as Big W and its related bodies corporate (“Big W”) accept no responsibility for any Lexar product being unavailable at a Big W store during the Promotional Period.
Once an Entrant submits their entry and the Promoter receives and confirms the entry has been successfully received, a message will appear on screen advising them that they have been entered into the draw.
Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Contact details entered incorrectly by an Entrant the Promotional Website will deem an entry invalid. Costs associated with accessing the Promotional Website remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used.
The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
Each Entrant must retain and may be required to present proof of each Eligible Purchase in order to claim a prize. An Entrant may be required to provide to the Promoter proof of purchase for all entries made. If an Entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all entries made within the required timeframes, then all the entries of that Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid. Proof of purchase includes showing the original and providing a photocopy of the Purchase Receipt and providing the original packaging of each Lexar product for each Eligible Purchase made during the Promotional Period. Purchase Receipts must clearly specify the retailer where the Eligible Purchase was made and that the Eligible Purchase was made during the Purchase Period but prior to submitting their entry. Lexar product packaging must be intact and must clearly display the Lexar product barcodes utilised by the Entrant to enter the promotion.
PRIZE:
Major Prize: The first eligible entry randomly drawn from all entries received during the Promotional Period will win (1) VIP Trip Prize package to California, USA for six (6) nights during the period 01/04/2016 – 30/11/2016, for the winner and three (3) companions (if any companion participating in the Major Prize is aged under 18 years, the winner or one of the other companions must be the parent or legal guardian of the person under 18 years of age), valued at up to AUD$20,000.00 (Major Prize). The Major Prize is comprised of the following:
four (4) return economy airfares to California, USA from the Australian capital city international airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges). Flights will be departing from the Australian capital city international airport and departing Los Angeles, California, USA six nights later (transfers to and from the Australia capital city international airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner are not included);
six (6) nights, four (4) star accommodation. Three (3) nights at the Sheraton Park Hotel at Anaheim, Anaheim, Los Angeles, USA and three (3) nights at the Beverly Hills Marriott, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA (two (2) twin share rooms);
return transfers to and from Los Angeles Airport from your hotels and transfers between your hotels;
three (3) breakfasts at Sheraton Park Hotel at Anaheim, Anaheim, Los Angeles, USA for the winner and their companions;
a Universal Studios Tour with Starline Tours of Hollywood for the winner and their companions;
a Deluxe Grand City & Stars Homes Tour with Starline Tours of Hollywood for the winner and their companions; and
four (4) Hop on Hop off Double Decker tickets.
The Major Prize must be taken during the period 01/04/2016 – 30/11/2016, otherwise the prize is forfeited. Redemption of the Major Prize is subject to availability and may be dependent on travel class availability, specific room category availability and travel ‘blackout’ periods applying (including school holidays and public holidays). All components of the Major Prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. The Major Prize winner and their companion(s) (if any) must travel together and depart from and return to the same departure point. The Major Prize winner and their companion(s) (if any) may not accrue frequent flyer points. No extension
or variation of the travel and/or accommodation date(s) nominated by the Promoter permitted. The Major Prize cannot be used in conjunction with travel discounts or special offers. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged by a licensed agent nominated by the Promoter.
All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of the Major Prize, are the responsibility of the winner and their companion(s) (if any). Such additional costs may include, but are not limited to, additional meals and beverages, room service, telephone calls, laundry services, spending money, transport to and from the Australia capital city international airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner, other transfers, taxes including arrival and departure taxes (if applicable) but excluding airfare related taxes and charges included in the prize, insurance, travel insurance, passports and visas. The Major Prize winner may be required to present a credit card at time of accommodation check-in.
The Major Prize winner and/or their companion(s) (if any) must conduct themselves in a responsible, courteous and friendly manner at all times whilst participating in the Major Prize. Acceptance of the Major Prize and participation in the Major Prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of travel/accommodation/transfers/services suppliers and any other prize suppliers, and in particular responsible consumption of alcohol, age, health, behaviour and safety requirements. The Major Prize winner and/or their companion(s) (if any) must follow all reasonable directions given by the Promoter and any prize supplier during the course of their participation in the Major Prize, including all directions relating to the responsible consumption of alcohol, age, health, behavior and safety. The Promoter and any prize supplier reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to refuse entry into any prize related venue or location, to disqualify, sanction and/or eject the Major Prize winner and/or their companion(s) (if any) from any prize related venue, or to refuse participation in certain activities, on the grounds of inappropriate behaviour, for age, health or safety reasons, or for any breach of these Conditions of Entry generally. If the Major Prize winner and/or their companion(s) (if any) fail to participate in the Major Prize in the manner required, as stated in this condition and in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, their entry and the balance of the Major Prize will be forfeited with no compensation payable.
It is the sole responsibility of the winner, their companions (if any) and the parent or legal guardian of any companion under the age of 18 to ensure their entry into California, USA at their own expense, including ensuring all necessary passports, visas, travel authorisations, medical advice and recommended vaccinations and immunisations have been obtained prior to travel and, if required, on or by a date nominated by the Promoter. Failure to do so may result in the Major Prize being forfeited. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety of California, USA and it is the responsibility of the winner and their companions (if any) to check the travel advice issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at www.smartraveller.gov.au and assess the safety of California, USA prior to travel.
Second Prize: The next eligible entry randomly drawn from all remaining entries received during the Promotional Period will win (1) $2,000 Wish Gift Card to spend at any Wish Gift Card participating store or online (please see https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/gift-cards/learn-more/participatingstores).
Third Prize: The third eligible entry randomly drawn from all remaining entries received during the Promotional Period will win (1) $1,000 Wish Gift Card to spend at any Wish Grift Card participating store or online (please see https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/gift-cards/learn-more/participatingstores).
