WHO CAN ENTER?

To be eligible to enter you must:
reside in Australia and who holds Australian citizenship or holds an Australian permanent residency visa;
Employees of MG Motor Australia (a related body corporate), their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter and described in further detail below; and
Be over 18 years of age.
Employees of the MG Motor Australia and its related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) (“Related Body Corporate”) or immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin is not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER
The competition period commences at 9:00am AEST on 8 April 2021 and ends at 9:00am AEST on 2 May 2021 (“Competition Period”).
To enter the competition, you must submit an online entry by providing your full name, mobile number, email address, postcode, the name of the NBL team you support, and accept these Terms and Conditions where required on the competition landing page at https://mg.partnership-hub.com/electrifying-moments during the Competition Period.
The competition will be advertised on the MG Motor Australia website, MG Motor Australia Facebook page, MG Motor Australia Instagram, National Basketball League (NBL) website, and will include a link or instructions to the competition landing page.
No late entries will be accepted.
A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
POST-ENTRY SURVEY
Post entry, the entrant may choose to complete an additional survey for ten (10) bonus entries. Following completion, the entrant will be eligible for eleven (11) entries into the promotion.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
1 (one) major winners will be chosen by random draw which will take place from:
10:00 AM AEST on 5 May 2021
at Greenroom Digital, 343 Ferrars Street, South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3205.
The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of the draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.This is a game of chance.

UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW
If one or more of the winners do not comply with the Terms and Conditions, cannot be contacted or does not respond within 1 week of being notified by Greenroom Digital that they have won the competition, one or more of the winners are not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by Greenroom Digital to identify those winners were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Greenroom Digital reserves the right to select another winner or winners through a second chance draw.
As the prize is for an event, if necessary, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 12 May 2021, at the same time and place as the first draw. The first valid entry or entries drawn will win any unclaimed prizes.The unclaimed prize draw winner or winners will be notified by email and/or telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of any unclaimed prize draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.

PROMOTION AND MARKETING
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, MG Motor Australia (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as MG Motor Australia may require without remuneration.
The winners also consent to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.
Except or any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, MG Motor Australia (including their respective officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under MG Motor Australia’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by MG Motor Australia) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of MG Motor Australia;
any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
taking of the prize/attendance at the prize event.
MG Motor Australia collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to the NBL (https://nbl.com.au/pages/privacy-policy) and other third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. MG Motor Australia will also use, and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy available at https://mgmotor.com.au/privacy/ .
In addition to any use that may be outlined in the privacy policies identified above, MG Motor Australia and the NBL may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The privacy policies also contain information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of MG Motor Australia and the NBL. MG Motor Australia and the NBL may disclose Australian entrant's PI to any entity outside of Australia in accordance with their respective privacy policy.
PRIZE
one (1) major prize of two (2) courtside seats at a NBL regular season game during the month of May 2021 valued at AUD $890. NBL reserves the right to nominate the regular season game (in its sole discretion) however it will use best endeavours to accommodate a game of the winner’s choosing.
one (1) NBL customized jersey (from the winner’s team of choice) valued at AUD $99.95;
one (1) personalised NBL virtual player message valued at AUD $100.00;
MG-EV to drive for duration of weekend valued at AUD $500; (if winner is under 25 years of age, they will be subject to an additional excess to their loan agreement).
Two (2) flights from the winners nearest capital city and minimum 4-star accommodation in the capital city where the game will be played valued up to AUD $3,000.00.
Total prize pool at AUD $4,590 incl GST at the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
If the prizes are not available for any reason, MG Motor Australia reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winners agree in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winners do not agree despite reasonable attempts by MG Motor Australia to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond MG Motor Australia control, MG Motor Australia may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by MG Motor Australia to be of equal or higher value.
The corporate ticket element of the prize is subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. MG Motor Australia and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or their companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
Prize to be awarded in May 2021 - Should the NBL 2020/2021 season not continue at the conclusion of this competition or NBL games for the 2020/2021 season are not played in a state, the NBL may, in their sole discretion award the two (2) courtside tickets for a game as part of the NBL 2021/2022 season.
STANDARD TERMS
Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully.If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
MG Motor Australia reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page at MG Motor Australia. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of MG Motor Australia.
If the competition is not capable of running as planned to include by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond MG Motor Australia ‘control, MG Motor Australia may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
MG Motor Australia does not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason during the competition period.
To the extent permitted by law, MG Motor Australia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the redemption or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of MG Motor Australia’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of MG Motor Australia.
MG Motor Australia and entrants acknowledge that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
MG Motor Australia is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Melbourne, Victoria.
