Entry is free and open to Australian Passport Holders only. Must be 18 years of age or over to enter.
Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The promotion commences 1st March 2016 at 10:00am (AEDST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) and concludes 12th of April 2016 at 11.00pm (AEDST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) (“the Promotional Period”). The ability to enter the competition commences 1st of March 2016 at 10:00am and ends 22nd March 2016 at 11:00pm (AEDST, Australian Eastern Standard Time). The ability to vote for one of the final 10 entrants commences 23rd of March 2016 at 4:00pm (AEDST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) and ends 12th of April 2016 at 11:00pm (AEDST, Australian Eastern Standard Time).
HOW TO ENTER:
There are two elements to this competition.To be eligible to win the major prize, entrants must upload their best festival photo-through the competition landing page: www.statravel.com.au/festival-head.htm, by filling in an entry form, or through STA Travel’s Twitter or Instagram account’s with the hashtags #festivalhead and #statravel. All entries for the Major Prize must be received by 11:00pm AEDST 22nd March 2016.
A shortlist of 10 entries will then be decided by the Promoter to be eligible for the Main Prize competition. The competition prize winner is then chosen through a voting system – the entry with the largest amount of votes through the competition entry portal within the time frame stipulated wins. The Promoter reserves the right to eliminate any entrants who have unfairly manipulated voting and will be disqualified.
The shortlist of entries for the major prize will be determined by the the Promoter at 10.00am on 23rd March, 2016 at STA Travel , Level 3, 6 Riverside Quay, Southbank, Victoria, 3006.
To be eligible to win the Minor prize, entrants must vote for their favourite entry and by filling out their details in the form provided at www.statravel.com.au/festival-head.htm. The compe-tition second prize winner will be drawn at random from the pool of valid entries through the use of Random.org on the 14th of April 2016 at 4:00pm at STA Travel’s Head Office – Level 3, 6 Riverside Quay, Southbank. VIC 3006.
PRIZE:
There will be one (1) Major Prize Winner and (1) MinorMinor Prize Winner. The Major Prize Winner will receive: Two (2) economy return flights from the nearest capital city in Australia operated by Etihad Airways to Munich, departing 21st September 2016 and returning 25th September 2016, and Two (2) 4 day busabout hostel Oktoberfest trips. The Minor Prize Winner will receive: One (1) Go Pro valued at $450.00.
The total maximum prize is valued at $5,950.
