Entry Restrictions:
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and residents of Australia.
Entrants must not be a Taronga Conservation Society Australia employee or immediate family member of an employee (or an employee of any entity or agency associated with the competition).
Method of Entry: Entrants must provide a valid first name, last name, phone number, email address, postcode, and correctly guess which animal is represented via an image or video hosted on Taronga Zoo Sydney’s social media platforms. Entrants will get three opportunities to enter across 4 weeks as we ask them to guess an animal per week. Only entries that correctly identify the animal each week will be eligible for the prize draw.
Competition Entry Opens: 12pm on Wednesday 1 March 2023.
Competition Entry Closes: 11:59pm on Sunday 8 April 2023.
Judging: Judges will randomly select an entry based on a random number generator, and the winner will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday 12 April 2023. Only entries that correctly identify the animal each week will be eligible for the prize draw.
Notification Method: The Prize Winner will be notified by phone and/or email. Invalid emails or uncontactable phone numbers will be disqualified from this competition.
Draw Publication Method: Taronga Conservation Society Australia will announce winners (with their expressed consent) on our website and/or social media. Otherwise, winner’s details will not be announced or shared publicly.
Prize Details: One (1) overnight stay at Taronga Zoo Sydney’s Wildlife Retreat for four (4) people in two (2) rooms (animal view), including breakfast, sanctuary tour, free parking, and two-day entry to Taronga Zoo Sydney valued at up to $1,600 AUD.
Unclaimed Prize Draw: If the Prize Winner is unable to be contacted, the Promoter will retain the Prize for three (3) weeks from the date of the draw. If the Prize is not claimed within three (3) weeks of the date of the draw, the Promoter will redraw another winner for the unclaimed Prize. Re-draw winners will be notified as set out in the above.
Special Conditions:
Employees of the Promoter, its agencies, affiliate businesses, and other entities in association with this Promotion together with their immediate families and members of the household of those persons are not eligible to enter.
Each unique eligible lead form completion will be counted as one (1) entry to the competition.
Prizes are transferable to another person but not exchangeable. The prize cannot be redeemed as cash, other goods and services or sold to a third party including online auctions and private sales. Unused portions of the prize will be forfeited, and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered.
The Promoter reserves the right to request Winners to provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability
