Terms and Conditions of Entry 1. COMPETITION PERIOD The competition entry period commences 6:01am AEST Monday 17 March 2014 and closes at 11:59pm AEST Monday 16 June 2014 ("COMPETITION ENTRY PERIOD"). All references to time are local in Sydney, Australia.
2. PROMOTER The Promoter is Travel Insurance Direct Pty Limited ABN 30 121 659 470, Level 5, 24 York Street, Sydney, New South Wales, 2000 (?THE PROMOTER?).
3. PRIVACY AND OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES By entering the competition entrants consent to the information they submit with their entry, being entered into a database and THE PROMOTER may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes [including sending electronic communication] without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant.
4. WHO MAY ENTER The competition is open to all Australian residents, over the age of 18 who purchases an international flight between 1January 2014 and before the end of the COMPETITION ENTRY PERIOD. This competition is not open to any employees or family members of employees of Travel Insurance Direct Pty Ltd or its related companies or any person who purchases a policy and then subsequently cancels that Policy.
5. ENTRANTS BOUND BY CONDITIONS By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.
6. HOW TO ENTER To enter and be eligible to receive a prize, entrants must read these conditions and during the COMPETITION ENTRY PERIOD, email their e-ticket to winyourflight.com.au, including as a minimum full name, flight details and email address, to be considered a valid entry. 6a. Entries must be: (i) the original e-ticket of the entrant (ii) owned by the entrant 6b. The entrant is deemed for the purposes of this competition as the owner of the e-ticket, whose name must also be connected to the email address from which the entry is sent and appear on the bank account to which the prize is deposited. It is to this person that the prize will be awarded. 6b. A parent is eligible to enter this competition on behalf of a dependent, for whom the parent has purchased a flight from 1 January 2014 and the end of the COMPETITION ENTRY PERIOD. The parent is deemed the entrant for the purposes of this competition.
7. LIMITATIONS ON ENTRY One entry per person, per e-ticket.
8. SELECTION OF WINNER The winner/s will be randomly selected using a random number generator each month. There are three monthly draws. The monthly prize winners will receive the prize listed in Clause 9. All non-winning entries, will be carried over to subsequent monthly draws. The draw will take place on the 23rd day (or next working day) of the following month, for each monthly draw. Draw 1 will take place 23 April 2014 at 10:00am, Draw 2 will take place 23 May 2014 at 10:00am and Draw 3 will take place 23 June 2014 at 10:00am. The draw will take place at Level 5/ 24 York Street Sydney, NSW, 2000. THE PROMOTER reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of THE PROMOTER, is incomprehensible, illegible, incomplete, fraudulent or that has been tampered with. Any entry that includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language will also be disqualified. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 8a. If a winner does not respond to winner?s notification within 20 days of the date of their email there will be a re-draw and the prize re-allocated. The unclaimed prize/s draw will take place 18 July 2014 at 10:00am. With the exception of winner/s from ACT, all ACT winner/s will be allowed three months to respond to their win.
9 . PRIZE The total prize pool is valued is up to $15,000.00 , each monthly winner will be re-imbursed their pre-paid flight cost up to $5,000. Winner/s must provide proof of purchase, so as to validate the value of their prize.
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION The monthly winners will be notified by email and details published on the Win your Flight Facebook page (facebook.com/winyourflight) and on the Win Your Flight competition page www.winyourflight.com.au. The winners will be notified 23 April 2014, 23 May 2014 and 23 June 2014. With the winners announced 15 May 2014, 15 June 2014 and 15 July 2014. All winners will be published in The Australian 21 July 2014. THE PROMOTER will not advise entrants of failure to win a prize. THE PROMOTER is not responsible for contacting winners by any other method or for winners not receiving notification for any reason. Entrants are responsible to provide and maintain correct contact details.
11. PRIZE COLLECTION THE PROMOTER will send the prize to the winner by direct credit to the account details provided by each winner. The account must be an Australian bank account in the winner?s name or a joint account of the winner.
12. ENTRY VERIFICATION THE PROMOTER reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry. The winner will need to provide proof of purchase to verify the cost of their flight.
13. LIABILITY THE PROMOTER shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
