Who are the promoters of the competition?

The promoters are the Alliance Française d'Adelaide, Alliance Française de Melbourne, Alliance Française de Brisbane, Alliance Française de Perth, Alliance Française de Canberra, Alliance Française de Sydney, and the Alliance Francaise French Film Festival Ltd.

Who is eligible to enter the competition?

Entry is open to Australian residents who are over 18 years of age. Employees and their immediate families of the promoters, sponsors, volunteers, participating retailers, and agencies associated with the competition are ineligible to enter.

What is the closing date for entries?

The competition closes on 25 April 2025 at 11:59 PM AEDST.

How can participants enter the competition?

Participants must fully complete the official entry form available on the Alliance Française French Film Festival 2025 website and answer the question: "In 25 words or less, tell us what is the most 'French' thing that could ever happen in a movie and why?"

How many winners will there be?

There will be 27 winners selected from all valid entries.

When will the winners be chosen?

Winners will be selected on 26 May 2025 at 3 PM AEDT.

How will the winners be notified?

Winners will be notified by email on 28 May 2025 at 3 PM AEDT, and their names will be published on the Alliance Française French Film Festival website by midday on the same day.

What are the prizes awarded in the competition?

First Prize:

Two (2) Business Class return tickets from Australia to Paris, provided by Singapore Airlines, valued at approximately AUD 17,655 each (excluding government and airport taxes).

Second Prize:

A $10,000 Intrepid Travel voucher valid for adventures in over 100 countries.

Third & Fourth Prizes:

Two Clarins boxes, each valued at $500, totaling $1,000.

Fifth to Fifteenth Prizes:

Ten boxes of Perrier limited edition bottles, each valued at $100, totaling $1,000.
