Competition Period close Date & Time Competition entries close Thursday 26th July 2018 at 3pm (AEST) 8. Entry Restrictions a) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry. b) Entrants must be able to take the prize on the afternoon of Saturday 11th August 2018. Finalists/winners who are not able to take the prize on this date will forfeit the prize and their entry. 9. How to enter During the Competition Period: (a) listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit the WSFM Website and complete the online entry form including by providing their contact details and by telling Jonesy & Amanda in why they would like to have Diesel performing in their backyard (b) each entry submitted by the time specified by the Station will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Station. The Station will select the top entries it deems to be the “best” from all valid entries received within the time period specified. These entries will be deemed “finalists” (c) Entrants may also be required to undertake a short phone interview to determine suitability prior to being deemed a finalist (d) Each morning between Monday 23rd and Friday 27 th July, Jonesy & Amanda will highlight finalist on air with those finalists entered into the major prize draw. (e) All finalists will then be judged, and the entry deemed the “best” will win the Backyard JAM. The major winner will be announced during Jonesy & Amanda’s Breakfast show on Friday 27th July. (f) The number of finalists chosen and highlighted on air will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. 10. Limitation on entries Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish, however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry form. 11. Challenge Details n/a 12. Judging Criteria Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, originality and creativity. 13: Prize Details One (1) major prize winner will receive: A Backyard JAM party in their own backyard, with Jonesy & Amanda, as well as a performance by Diesel. The prize winner will also receive a case of beer and a meat tray to the value of $100. The winner must be available to host the Backyard JAM on the afternoon of Saturday 11 th August 2018. The Backyard JAM event cannot take place at any other time. A site inspection of finalists’ and winner’s homes may take place to determine suitability for the event. By entering, entrants expressly consent to representatives of the Promoter entering their premises/home to conduct the competition and the prize. Any entrant unable to host the Backyard JAM is ineligible to enter and will forfeit any prize. 14: Total Prize Value The Backyard JAM event is a money-can’t-buy experience. Additional prize elements are valued up to $200 inc. GST 15: Winner Notification Winners will be notified: - via telephone - via email - on air at the time of winning - on the Station Website 16: Prize Claim and Delivery Prize/s must be claimed by 5pm (AEST) Friday 10th August 2018. The Backyard JAM event will be held at the winner’s residence, as nominated on their entry form. 17. Special conditions • The major prize is for Saturday 11th August 2018 ONLY and cannot be taken at any other time • If the major prize winner is unable to use the prize on this date, they forfeit the prize and a re-draw will occur • Date of the event is subject to change at any time throughout the campaign • The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of the function or event. Should the function or event be cancelled, postponed or otherwise varied, including but not limited to by the substitution of the promoted performers, then the Promoter has no responsibility to provide alternate or substitute tickets or to provide any cash equivalent in substitute for the event. • The major prize winner may be required to sign a waiver as part of claiming their prize. • By entering this competition, Entrants grant to the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the materials for the purpose of conducting the competition and for marketing and promotional purposes.
