Zoo Twilights 2018 Schweppes Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. The Promoter is the Zoological Parks and Gardens Board (ABN 96 913 959 053) trading as “Zoos Victoria”. Elliott Avenue, Parkville, Victoria, 3052 (“The Promoter”).
3. Entry is open to residents of Victoria aged 18 years and over. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible. “Immediate families” means spouse, parent, guardian, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
4. The Promotion commences at 09.00 AEST on 27/12/2017 and closes at 17.00 AEST on 04/02/2018 (“Promotional Period”).
5. The Promotion applies to Melbourne Zoo (Elliot Avenue, Melbourne, Victoria), Werribee Open Range Zoo (K2 Road, Werribee, Victoria) and Healesville Sanctuary (Badger Creek Road, Healesville, Victoria), together “the Sites”.
6. To enter the Promotion:
Visitors at a Zoos Victoria Site will receive a Guide to Entry form per transaction when they purchase any Schweppes products during the Promotional Period directing them to the Online Entry Form.
Current Zoos Victoria Members with a valid email address will receive an email in January 2018 with a direct link to the Online Entry Form.Visitors or Zoos Victoria Members wishing to enter the Promotion must do so by fully completing the Online Entry Form.
Visitors or Zoos Victoria Members wishing to enter the Promotion must do so by fully completing the Online Entry Form including stating in 25 words or less the favourite experience they have had at the Zoo and all other details as requested (including full name, address, email address and contact number) by 17.00 AEST on 04/02/2018.
7. Limit applies of one entry per person per day.
8. The Prize Pool consists of:
First Prize – One of three double Adult passes to see Neil and Liam Finn at Melbourne Zoo Twilights on 23 February 2018 (“the Concert”) (RRP $188.20), a choice of either a Twilight Premium Classic or Vegetarian Hamper per double Adult pass (RRP $97.90) and a $100 drink voucher valid at the Concert for that night only. Entry to Melbourne Zoo and the Concert is subject to the Zoo Twilights Terms of Conditions of Entry (refer www.zoo.org.au/twilights-comp). Total prize value $1,079.70.
Second Prize – One of three family (2 adults, 2 children) passes to a selection of Behind-The-Scenes experiences (RRP $220.00) and entry (RRP $91.00) at Zoos Victoria Sites (subject to availability). Terms and conditions of Entry to the Site applies, minimum ages apply and adult supervision may be required – please refer to ‘Experiences’ under the relevant Zoos Victoria website for details and terms and conditions. Total prize value $933.00.
Selection of Behind the Scenes Experiences:
Melbourne Zoo – Tiger Behind The Scenes, Gorilla Behind The Scenes.
Werribee Open Range Zoo – African Cat Encounter, Gorilla Encounter, Off Road Safari, Giraffe Feed Encounter.
Healesville Sanctuary – Close Up Encounters, Wade With The Platypus.
Third Prize – One of five Schweppes BBQ packs consisting of BBQ set, large picnic rug, cheese board, Alaska cooler bag 4.2L with a selection of Schweppes drinks and 2 X camper chairs (RRP $240.00). Total prize value $1,200.00.
9. Total RRP value of prizes = $3212.70. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to travel to and from Melbourne Zoo, insurance, taxes (excluding GST), meals and drinks (outside of the Twilights Hamper and $100 drink voucher provided under the First Prize, and any and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
10. The Promoter will judge the prizes based on the best entries received. Prizes will be judged at 15.00 AEST on 07/02/2018 at Melbourne Zoo, Elliott Avenue, Parkville, Victoria, 3052.
11. Winners will be notified by telephone and email within 2 days of the adjudication of the best entries and winners names published on www.zoo.org.au/twilights-comp.
12. No refund or alternate dates will be offered for cancellations once booking has been confirmed, unless the booking is cancelled by Zoos Victoria. Zoos Victoria may cancel booking due to inclement weather, animal welfare issues or insufficient bookings.
13. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
14. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection with the conduct of the promotion whether as a result of:
a.technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches; or
b.acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of the Promoter's servants or agents involved in the conduct of this promotion.
In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
15. If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize or element of a prize has been substituted at equal or greater value.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or otherwise preventing the conduct of the promotion as intended by the Promoter. In the event of such problems or conduct, then the Promoter may (where necessary with approval from the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
17. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize, except for any loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which otherwise cannot be excluded by law.
18. Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
