In the near future, law is enforced by the literal iron fist of a robotic police-force. But this all changes when a police droid, Chappie, is reprogrammed and becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for itself. Seen as a threat to the human race and peace, those in power now aim to destroy the free-willed droid and make sure this experiment is never to be repeated. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, and Dev Patel, along with Ninja and Yolandi Visser of alternative hip hop group Die Antwoord.
