The FoodWorks EV Competition offers a Major Prize of one White BYD Atto 1 Electric Vehicle (Essential Base Model) valued at AUD $23,990, excluding on-road costs. Additionally, there are twenty-one Daily Prizes, each consisting of a $50 FoodWorks e-Gift Card. The total maximum prize pool value is AUD $25,040.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes at 11:59 PM AEST on 1 September 2026. Participants must ensure their entries are submitted before this deadline to be eligible for the prize draws.
How do I enter the competition?
To enter the competition, eligible participants must spend $20 or more in one transaction at a participating FoodWorks store or online, purchase a participating promotional product, and complete an online entry form. Truly Local members have an automatic entry when they scan their membership at checkout. Each eligible transaction allows for one entry.
Who is eligible to enter the FoodWorks EV Competition?
The FoodWorks EV Competition is open to residents of Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland who are aged 18 years or older. Employees of the promoter, FoodWorks retailers, associated agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
How is the winner selected?
Winners are selected through a randomised electronic draw system. Daily Prize Draws occur within three business days of each Daily Draw Period's end. The Major Prize Draw takes place at 12:00 PM AEST on Tuesday, 8 September 2026. All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning.
How will the winner be notified?
Daily Prize winners will be notified by email within three business days of their respective draw. The Major Prize winner will be contacted by telephone and email within three business days of the Major Prize Draw. Winner details will be published on the promotional website.
What happens if the prize is unclaimed?
If a prize remains unclaimed within 30 days of notification, an unclaimed prize redraw will occur on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, at 2:00 PM AEDT. Winners from this redraw will be notified by telephone and/or email and published on the promotional website.
