With a record number of entries for the Landscape Art Prize awards and some truly awe-inspiring talent on the cards including Archibald prize winners Sam Leach and John Beard, you know that you’re in for a visual feast. Artists from all over Australia have come together to present everything from traditional and contemporary landscape, seascape with landform, urban and industrial, cosmic, indigenous and figure in landscape through to identifiable landmarks and even memory landscapes – all in the hopes of winning the massive $30,000 prize. There is something so exciting about the atmosphere of an awards night. The reveal of who the lucky winners are makes for a truly memorable evening – especially when you consider the after-party celebrations!
