Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Only one entry is permitted per household and per order. Employees and associates of Godfrey Hirst, its retailer customers, and any associated marketing agencies are ineligible to participate.
When does the competition close?
The competition runs from 31 January 2025 to 31 March 2025. Entries must be submitted online by 11 April 2025.
How can one enter the competition?
To enter, participants must purchase eligible Godfrey Hirst, Hycraft by Godfrey Hirst, Redbook, or Feltex branded flooring products during the competition period. They must then complete an online entry form at the relevant Godfrey Hirst, Feltex, or Redbook website, providing all requested details, including full name, contact information, product details (with proof of purchase), and a creative response of 25 words or less explaining why they chose their carpet or hard flooring.
What are the prizes won?
Five winners will each receive a $1,000 Digital Gift Card in their local currency. Winners will be selected based on the literary and creative merit of their entries.
What is the total prize pool amount?
The total prize pool amounts to $5,000, as five winners will each receive a $1,000 Digital Gift Card.
How will winners be selected?
Winners will be chosen based on the quality of their entries by a judging panel of Godfrey Hirst employees after the competition period closes, and the judges' decision will be final. Chance plays no part in this competition.
How will winners be notified?
Winners will be notified by phone call. If a winner cannot be contacted within seven days or does not meet eligibility criteria, an alternative winner may be selected.
Will the winners' information be made public?
Yes, Godfrey Hirst may publish the winners' names and entry submissions for publicity purposes. Winners are also required to participate in a publicity interview and provide photography of the installed floor for promotional use.
What happens to personal information submitted?
