Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of this promotion is Metricon Homes Pty Ltd (ABN 55 201 276 124) of
501 Blackburn Road, Mount Waverley (03) 9915 5555. NSW Permit No.
LTPS/16/08897.
2. Entry is free and open to New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia
residents only. Multiple entries are not permitted.
3. This competition is a game of chance.
4. Entrants must be Australian residents 18 years of age or older. Employees, directors
(and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter. Entrants may be required to provide proof of
identity and residency.
5. Week 1 Promotion starts on the 7th November 2016 at 12pm AEST. The Promotion
closes on 13th November 2016 at 12pm AEST. No entries will be accepted after the
Promotion closes. Metricon reserves the right to close the promotion early.
6. Week 1 Promotion Prize Pack (RRP $230.00): Salt&Pepper Fromage board,
Salt&Pepper Host gold cheese knife kit, Salt&Pepper Hudson set of three canisters,
Salt&Pepper Hudson utensil and iPad holder and Salt&Pepper Spice pepper grinder.
iPad used for promotional purposes only and does not form part of the prize pack.
7. The draw will take place on the 13th November 2016 at 1pm AEDST. The first valid
entry drawn will win a Salt&Pepper Homewares prize pack. Prize Draw Location:
Metricon Homes 501 Blackburn Road, Mount Waverley (03) 9915 5555. Draw
Method: Random Electronic.
8. Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The
Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of prizes. Where a
prize is unavailable for any reason it may be substituted with a prize of equal or
greater value subject to relevant state and territory regulations.
9. The winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the prize draw.
10. Prizes must be claimed within three months of the Prize Draw. In the event of an
unclaimed Salt&Pepper prize pack, a second chance winner will be drawn at 12pm,
two months on from the original prize draw date. Any second chance draw winner
will be contacted by email within 2 days of the draw.
11. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entrants who consent to
receiving marketing materials as per the collection statement, will be entered into a
database and the Promoter may use the entrant’s names, addresses & telephone
numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media
worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised
by the entrant. By consenting to receive these materials, entrants confirm that they
allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their
details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact the
Promoter through the website set out below. Any request to update, modify or
delete the entrant’s details should be directed to the Promoter.
12. The Promoter is not liable for any other additional costs associated with winning this
competition or the prizes that comprise this competition.
13. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these terms and
conditions. Entry into the competition is deemed an acknowledgement and
acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the
identity of entrants. Proof of entry and identity will only be deemed as sufficient at
the discretion of the Promoter.
15. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being properly
conducted due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the
Promoter reserves its rights to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend,
terminate or cancel this competition, to the extent permitted by law.
16. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any
loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of
profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained
(whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this
competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent
permitted by law).
