Terms and Conditions for all Medical & Mind Weight Loss Competitions
All competitions are a game of chance unless specifically stated and will be selected by random
Random selection will be done by pulling a number out of a box which corresponds to the order in which the entry was done. i.e. If no. 1 was pulled out, it will correspond to the 1st entry that was made due to time. A non-staff member will always be present during the random selection to ensure the process is correct and fair.

All times and dates specified in these Terms and Conditions are times and dates in Sydney, which may be Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (“AEDT”) depending on the date.
Entry Restrictions (i) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over to be eligible. (ii) Entrants must be residents of Australia. (iii) Instagram entrants must be Medical & Mind Weight Loss patients unless otherwise specified. Anyone can enter Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest competitions.
As Instagram competitions are patients, the announcement of winner’s names and “usernames”can only be done with the permission of the winner. Medical & Mind Weight Loss has to right to withhold winner’s names due to privacy and confidentiality purposes. Instagram winners will be contacted by private message.
Facebook competitions will be announced on Facebook anytime up to 14 days later of the competition being drawn.
Twitter competitions have a combination of patients and non-patients, so winners may be contacted via private message and not announced on the twitter website.
Entrants must follow all components of the competition to be eligible
The Prize winners will be notified or be asked to contact the promotor within 30 days of draw.
It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that the details in their profile are correct.
If prizes are not claimed within 30 days, the promoter can choose to donate the prize to charity, use the prize for another competiton or hold a re-draw 6 weeks later. The final decision of the outcome of the unclaimed prize will be made anytime up to day 30 of the original prize draw date and will be announced either via newsletter, on the promoter’s website or on the platform on which the competition is launched or all 3 ways.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel the any ticket or prize if any attempts are made to misuse it.
The promoter can change the closing date of competition at any time without notice and the prize given.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash and cannot be sold for profit.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoters reserve the right, at any time, to refuse to accept any entry or remove any entry that it deems, in their absolute discretion, to be dangerous, obscene, offensive, inappropriate, or infringing upon the rights of any third party. Determination of the appropriateness and acceptance of any entry is at the sole discretion of the Promoters, including as a result of breaching these Terms.
If the Promoters reasonably believe that an entrant has infringed the intellectual property of any third party or not adhered to these Terms, that entrant will be disqualified without notice and their entry/entries removed from the Promotion.
By entering this Promotion, each entrant consents to their entry (including but not limited to their name) being used in any feature created by the Promoters. The Promoters are entitled to use any such feature for any purposes at its discretion, including for any future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes in any form of media.
