Entry Restrictions Promotions are not open to: a) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with the Promotion; b) the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, or sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent) of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household); c) any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any Promotion run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name; d) any person where that person or anyone from the same family or household has won a prize or prizes from the Promoter on the radio station or on any station owned or controlled by the Australian Radio Network valued either individually or collectively at more than $500 in the 30 days prior to the commencement of the Promotion, or $20,000 in the 6 months prior to the commencement of the Promotion. e) For competitions involving social media entry, entrants must have their profiles set to ‘public’ or viewable by the public in respect of any material submitted as part of their entry. f) Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian prior to submitting their entry in order to be eligible for the competition. 9. How to enter From Monday, 1st January 2018, WSFM will encourage listeners to register their details on-air/online/via SMS for the chance to take part in a variety of radio station competitions. Permit No: LTPM/17/02574 The entry mechanic will differ for each competition; however, all competitions will involve an element of chance. This game will be decided at the complete discretion of the Promoter. On each Contesting Day, the Promoter will solicit for listeners to call a dedicated promotional number for the chance to play the nominated game and win the prize. The Promoter will determine at its discretion the opening and closing times for the receipt of calls/entries on each Contesting Day 10. Limitation on entries Unless otherwise provided in the General Terms & Conditions, there are no limitations on entries unless advised by the Promoter on-air or online. Publication Details Winners of prizes valued at over $500 (inc. GST) will be published on the Station Website ‘WIN’ Page. 17: Prize Claim and Delivery Prize/s must be claimed within 3 months of their win date. Prize/s will be delivered to the winner’s residential address via mail OR prize/s will be available for collection by the winner from the Station (or by the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age). The Station will contact the winner when their prize is ready for collection. Where the prize is cash The prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer (or to the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age). OR The prize will be awarded to the winner (or to the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age) in the form of a cheque. 18. Prize Claim Date and Time & Unclaimed Prize Draw All winners will have a three month period from the time of winning to claim their prize. If the winner does not claim their prize within a three month period they will forfeit their prize. Unclaimed prize draws will be conducted from Monday 2 nd April 2018 – Monday 1 st April 2019. All unclaimed prize draws will take place at WSFM – 3 Byfield Street, North Ryde NSW 2113 17. Special conditions By entering these competitions, Entrants grant to the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the materials for the purposes of conducting the competition and for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants must not submit any material which is determined by the Promoter in its discretion to be obscene, defamatory or otherwise illegal or inappropriate. The Promoter reserves the right to provide hints and clues prior to the contesting segment. Clues may be given away, without limitation, via television, social networking sites and/or on the radio during the day, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Clues and hints may be also provided to the contestant during the quiz. Clues and hints will be given at the complete discretion of the Promoter. Should the Contesting Segment not be able to run live, the Promoter will pre-record a contest with random callers from another contest set for this promotion which will run on the pre-recorded show day within the contesting period. Any caller who is chosen to participate in a prerecorded segment will be made aware at the time of calling. Where applicable, contestants may at the absolute discretion of the Promoter be awarded the prize off air. Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter. The Prize for each Contesting Week will be determined at the complete discretion of The Promoter and prizes are not transferable. If a contestant is deemed a winner they will receive one (1) prize only. The promoter may amend the promotional period in accordance with state legislative rules. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion; the Promoter reserves the right to terminate the competition subject to any direction from a regulatory authority. Where a promotion involves a participation of ARN talent or a celebrity/artist/public figure it will at all times be subject to the availability of the talent/celebrity/artist/public figure. The Promoter will not be liable for the failure of the talent/celebrity/artist/public figure not being available for whatever reason, and it is at the Promoter’s discretion to substitute the talent/celebrity/artist/public figure for an alternative. No cash or alternative prize or opportunity will be awarded in lieu of that element.
