Coming in hot with a second helping of action is the ever-titillating Bombshell Burlesque with its latest offering Heatwave, the seductive trio of sirens in Babushka presenting wickedly funny cabaret Happily Ever After, and beloved chanteuse Mama Alto with a stunning tribute to Billie Holiday. The festival is also continuing its reputation for launching the next crop of stars, with world premieres in the form of Two Man Tarantino and Bitch on Heat – you should be sold immediately from the names alone. This is just the tip of the iceberg, with a grand total of 25 shows taking place over the course of the festival explicitly curated to surprise and delight.
