The second annual "Market Week" is on again from Tuesday 2 to Saturday 6 September and has a jam-packed calendar of free and low cost Food Festivities including food appreciation sessions, cooking classes and demonstrations, tours and heaps of entertainment. There'll be daily Happy Hours at 10am and 3pm, packed with Market bargains and, visitors will be able to explore the Market's hidden gems by taking part in the Fine Food Forage. State Opera of South Australia and buskers will entertain crowds with pop-up performances and office workers will be able to pick up quick, healthy corporate lunch boxes and relax in the Grote Street Spring Garden. The Market week celebrations will wrap-up with the Spring Market Party on Friday night and children's activities on Saturday morning.
